TY sir!

Running 225/35/19 front, 245/35/19 rear Federal SS595's.

Might go to 235/35 in the rear.. The fronts show more stretch than the rears, which confuses me because a 245/35 on a 10 should show the same stretch as the 225 on a 9 in the front but it doesn't, lol

Man this whole time I could've swore you had 20's. I misread your forsale thread then. Remember I told you I had the second set ever made for a TL? I have it in 20's... I always wondered about going 19's and going really really staggered, but 20's are the perfect size for the car. Your car looks amazing though.

YES, the 20's are so dam perfect for our cars, IMO. It's all in the tire size and drop for 20's. It makes/breaks the car. After seeing PlatinumVIP's car's, I have learned a LOT. Big face wheels makes them POP Out more and really brings the wheels out.

Take pics of your car man!!! I really want to see how you set it up

LMAO, sorry will. Thought I had showed you, but I guess not. It's ok, i'll make it up to you back in norcal.

I can take some pictures tonight for you. Haven't driven the car much, and still haven't ordered the Tein SS's yet. I Kinda wanted to go with the stepped face lip, but being that our back wheels are not wide enough, it would only make the face of the rim look smaller. It only looks super hot whenever you got a really good offset in the back like the true rear wheel drive cars. Don't you agree?

another thing that needs to be considered for 20s is the size of the car and the wheel base...if you have a short car where the wheels are close together, you'll get that cartoon appearance. i actually think Plat vip uses too big of wheels on "SOME" of their cars...including the 21s on that widebody gs

I thought you were going to get step lip on the 20's, which makes the wheels a 21'. lol. I totally agree on the offset in the rear. THe problem I'm having right now is the offset in the rear, it's not flush enough IMO. THe fronts will be lowered more and it lookslike my lip is about to meet fender, Just the way I like it.

The lip of the wheels stick out when you are looking at the car from the front. The rear wheels are kinda sunk. It's currently at -2.2 camber but so it looks a little better now. but less flush.

WIsh the TL had a lower body llike the LS. WHen you look at the two, they are somwhat similiar in body size. Job Design should really make a body kit for our TLs damit.. I meant front and rear, not just the front. jk, lol

You must be talking about the white 1G GS.. Now THAT car is OD IMO.. I think they perfected the LS460 though.

HUH ADRIAN?

Ay, you got your wheels on or what? I might have a friend who's going to shoot my car and if your car is ready, I can have him shoot your car too. He's legit.

Man, you really should've got the 20's then, I originally wanted to go with the 21'' face with the 20'' barrel. It would've looked clean as hell, but like i said the lip on the wheel would be even smaller. The 20's fit perfectly jus like how you want it. Its flush in the back literally I didn't get a chance to take pictures yet. Too busy watching the NBA Finals.

sexy car! i'm so inspired. i do wanna throw some 19x10's in the rear, but i was concerned that they'd be too wide. my car is dropped only 1.5in all around, would the 10inchers fit without a problem? i think the offset is +35. do you think i'd have to roll the fenders or do any other kinds of modifications to make them fit?

Thank you sir. I would roll my fenders to be safe. What size tires are you running btw? Tire size can be a major factor to rubbing.

I'm assuming you mean tire size?

I put on 245/35/19's on the 19x10.
Tires are Federal SS595's.

NICK337 post pics of the ride man!! I think they mentioned you when I asked about what other TL's have ordered from them.. They said it was some dude in Louisiana for a show car? Is that you?

OEM lens bruh. 18-55 on all my photo's..

LOL. I think I should take a picture of the tire shredding.. My fenders are pissed at my tires.. or the other way around.. I hate it. My fenders are cutting/slicing up my tires and killing them slowly.. I dunno what to do. I'm just letting it roll itself out through time so make it look OEM-ish. Not a fan of pulling..

Thank you bruh. It took awhile to search for these wheels and i finally decided to go for it. Once again, I just said fuck it, if I don't do it now, i will never do it.

How about some more pics of the lips Nick??? Dam, I am so jealous that you got SPF finish.. I might get that finish when I get sick of this one.

What coils will you be getting? if you get tein-ss's, drop it all the way down. that is where I'm at right now. =)

And you running 30 or 35 profile tires?? They look like 30's from the pics.

<-- chick, hahha.

i was talking to a guy at a wheel shop and he recommended putting 245/35's on the 19x10's in the rear. or maybe it was 235/35? i don't remember... he was talking too fast. he also said that i should put 225/?? up front on the 19x8.5's so both the front and the rears will have that stretched tire look.

what'd do you think is good?

This is the front lip

This is the rear lip

I am running a 30 series tire. 235 in the front, and 255 in the rear.

I will be running the tein SS's. I want to slam it to bring out the wheels even more. The lips are kinda small if you ask me. I like to call them baby lips. LMAO

Oh whoops, sorry. lol.

I have 245/35. If you want more of a stretch look, go with 235/35 on that 10...

I feel the same way about the lips. I was hoping they can make 4inch lips in the rear, but they only went 3.5 .... 4 would be perfect. the fronts are ok at 2.5..
