I've seen cars with the glossy finish but i wanted a different look. They are high maintenace when it comes to keeping them from showing dirt. When i spray them with the tire foam they look Tough. Thats what i was going for.

Long Island!...What part? I'm in LI too. I kinda like the rims. I just put stock rims on mine too for the winter but don't know if I like the silver look. Where did you get them done?

I paid $500 for the powder coating of the rims and a total of about $500 for the rest of the mods. Other than the rims, i did the rest of the mods myself. Went on E-bay and found what i needed, then when i had time did a lil here and there. I got the body kit installed by the dealer when i originally purchased the car. It is a tug of war when it comes to people that like or dislike my rims but i feel that the flat look makes the car have a different pressence on the road.

You know I like the look the wheels are missing a little something though. You able to paint the edges silver? I'm so tempted by that wing spoiler...

he said 07 type s

but nice ride. id definately clear coat the rims...no idea how they look in person, but from the pictures, they look worse than stock silver. nonetheless, i love the car.

are those 35% from rockblocker films on your tails? im looking into that too. i think tails, side markers, and heads are 105 from rockblocker, and what i understand is 35% from rb is darker than their 20%.

I Like the look of the car. The wheels set it apart. Something different, that tough look. I want to black my TL-S out, but the wife might want black rims with a silver lip. I prefer all black though. I like the blacked out headlights. Did you do it yourself or did a shop do it? If so how much $?

Did it with the help of a friend. Took about 4 hours. You can find the instructions in the Garage section.
