Did you clear them out by putting them in the oven and taking them apart?
I am afraid of messing up the seals doing it this way. Is there any other way?

Cleared headlights alone are not illegal in any state. Was it possible to do what you did with the headlights WITHOUT removing the chrome strip from the headlights? I think that might look pretty good with the cleared/blacked out lights.

If you look carefully malu, you might be able to see that strip there. It was painted black not removed (as far as I know, I'm the first). It kinda blocks my LED though so removing it might not be such a bad idea...wonder if its needed...
