Hmm, I'm trying to choose my words carefully here. I'm not saying it looks bad, but compared to the overall shine of the car, the carbon fiber roof looks very dull in comparison and takes something away from the overall look. I think if that overlay had more of a shine to it, it would look a lot better. I really like the taillights though. I think they look pretty sweet.

I agree totally except that from the pics it does look like a dry CF but it IS a wet CF vinyl and in person it's more apparent. ill try to take some pics that will show u better

this may help

I'm thinking about possibly blacking out my rear emblem but I like how the front one breaks up the CF and flat back paint. what does everyone think?

I see what you mean by the "wet" look. I still think the carbon fiber overlay would look better if it came in a more glossy finish like how this plain black one is

lol yea I hear ya. I like the way it looks and seems to flow very good with the grill and trim he did as well as my lights. I do want to put a flat or gloss clear coat on it just as a preventive measure for bird shit but I don't want it to change to way it looks right now too much

I'm in the electrical union here in CT so last year I worked for 2 different companies and I'm waiting on my W2's from them and unemployment so that I can file my taxes. as soon as my refund gets direct deposited into my account ill be heading over to Bruce (Acktl05) who is holding it and a roof spoiler for me

I'm not sure how I feel about it right now, but I am envisioning the end result and I see something spectacular. The a-spec kit is definitely going to help but window tint and new rims (gunmetal or black) will REALLY set the car off.

I am looking forward to seeing where you go with this

thanks bro. envision a type-s a-spec kit with roof spoiler and tints in the spring. rims are killing me but I really like the stock type-s wheels but they are so expensive that I may just go aftermarket. but one thing is for sure and that's suspension almost immediately after the kit is installed

I've never actually noticed this color until now. You've very tastefully modded this into a beautiful machine. I love it!

Cazio, I have an idea for you. I forgot your grill is wrapped in Carbon Fiber along with the roof. You might consider wrapping the rear trunk spoiler, in order to keep the consistency going.

believe me it's been thought of, I'm just really tryin to stay away from a too "raced" out look contrary to the roof being CF wrapped lol. I was afraid even doing the roof but I really liked the good black vinyl roofs and this resembles it until u get right on top of it like the grill. I still may but I'd be a pain to try to do it since I installed the spoiler months before the CF

really man, since november? no way I could have done it. it'll be a month for me and I ready to break down myself haha. most of the threads of CBP I really don't like, so maybe WE can spark something big up together and whenever ur ready. I only really need two more weeks till I'm lip kitted. LME

Very tasteful. I love the way the roof turned out.

Now it's time to drop that puppy. I'd say about 1.5-2 inches should do the trick.

I concur, with the coilover sets I'm interested in a exact drop is a mystery till I have the lip kit and wheel setup on

Cazio, I've merged your two threads together. Since the new one is basically a continuation of your first one, the two naturally go together.
