Maybe you should start with going bigger and maybe some will follow. Thats how it all started here. Some went bigger than a few others started to push the limits and now we are at the point where custom body work will become a must. Just go big and start the trend for the cl side.

Jay you should definately get these wheels and than finish the body work that you need to fit these wheels.
I am actually in nor cal right now for a last minute work related project.

I am little frustrated with the fronts since they were ordered for bbk and i dont have clearance. So i will be trying to add a 3mm spacer and see if that clears and work my way up on spacers until it clears.
I wish i could slam it but i got alot of work ahead of me.

My friend here in S. FLA fit a 12" wheel on his Type S and at first he was experiencing the SAME issue as you..
He had to drive like 3 hrs to get skinnier tires for the rear and then did customer camber adjustment so he can go low..
Looks SICK though!.. Just get skinnier tires!

so you ordered a high disc up front and sacrificed lip for a wheel that wont clear bbk anyway? yea i can see where you'd be very frustrated
those wheels flow very well, and i know youre gonna pull it off and quickly become popular on the intarwebz

damn that sucks about the bbk clearance.. I remember rodney fit a slo pad height and it cleared his rotoras..
