V-LEDs... better late than never

Hey AZ Members,
Been meaning to share these pics with everyone since last year this time… But here goes. I went to vled.com and purchased my led lights. The below pics are shown so that you can see the difference in these LED lights versus standard bulbs.

Tags with LED bulb on left and standard bulb on right:

These are the tag light bulbs I installed from vleds:

why not? if you can take a look at some youtube videos of those reverse lights, there is a major difference in the light output and how bright they are compared to the stock ones.... take a look

LOL he called it hids. hahahahahha

maybe it was the picture, that the OP showed. I preferred the stock in his picture. maybe he just didnt show the finished product and kept me guessing.

actually he stated that you could get HID reverse lights for a little more then he spent on the LED lights..... Take another listen and try watching/listening to the whole explanation, I know the sound quality is not the best.

They are super sweet, but kinda overkill for the very few seconds you ever use them IMO

LED plate lights are an awesome subtle mod. I always forget I have them, but I've been told by others that it looks nice.

I agree! I also think that the HID DIY would be a complete waste of time IMO... This was a little bit cheaper and less time consuming (simply changing a bulb) and IMO the light output is 100x better than the standard bulbs. I will say this much, I have 20% tint all the way around on my car and with standard bulbs I would have to roll down the windows in order to back up, but with these bulbs I can just put it into reverse and back up...

I liked these bulbs so much that I bought another pair for the wifes car... Changing the tag bulbs and reverse lights really makes the car seem more luxurious IMO... not mention how "CLEAN" it looks rolling down the road at night looking at the tags...

Check the fitament,(basically the direction you would insert the bulb) but I'm 99% sure that your gonna get better light output on the tag with flat six led

OR the Angeled (MY PICK OUT OF EM ALL)

The other bulb you included works best for the door lights

The reason I say check the way the bulb would be inserted is because using the six led bulb in the door would cause the light either to project up/down depending on the manner you insert the bulb. With the "MAP LIGHTS" or "TAG LIGHTS" you can use the six led bulb and actually have maximum output with the bulb. Check it out when you got time... You'll see what Im babbling about...

Thanks OP, just ordered a few. The reverse lights, license plate, and a set for the map lights. The door lights look to be sold out. If these look good I'll get those and whatever else is left!

Thanks =)
Here are pictures just taken of the VLEDs slanted 6 flank led bulbs:

They have been installed over a year now and still look GREAT!!!

It never made sense that Acura would make LED taillight and sidemarkers but not the tag lights. I like them.

Thanks for the help guys =)

So those are what the "angled" 6 LED Flank looks like?

Just sorta confused because the first post links to the the flat led, but the picture states they are "slanted" lol.

So I should go ahead and order this?:

The doors (x2), front map lights(x2), rear dome lights(x2), and license plate lights(x2) ALL use 168/194's. BUT you have to make sure the LED itself fits in the area of the stock light you are replacing.

EDIT: Below are a few pics on mine. I bought six red 30 led panels from Vleds (no longer available). They are extremely bright.

On top is the stock bulb from the front map light. Below that is the adapter and then the 30 led panel it connects to.

Example of how they look in the front map light. Make sure the LED you choose is small enough to fit in the area where the stock light bulb was.

A picture taken with my cell phone camera at night.

And the doors with the red 30 led panels.
