I actually had the same problem. Broke both bezels in multiple areas trying to make it fit. I ended up shaving down the far corner side (away from the projector). I had to shave it down about .5-.75 cm approx to make them fit.

I personally got them to make the switchbacks brighter and more noticeable when looking at the car from the side. its doing its job so no complaints here.

Any pictures?

I have had family in from out of town so my time has been taken from my car. I will try to get better pics later this week.

I shaved off the entire tab here and the small tabs that click into the bezel. I dont know if its really visible here in both pictures, but i broke the bezel in 2 areas in this corner when i first tried to fit it. I had to hot glue them together

I have to reopen my lights to wipe down the inner lense because I baked the lights too fast after painting them and it released some sort of film inside. More prevalent in one than the other but looks like CRAP! If I reopen, was thinking of going with the clear diffuser but am not sure...the USR one is almost TOO see through. May keep the blacked out theme I got going on.

Just refound your thread and figured I'd update here since I hadn't posted in it originally and I was looking to make my decision.
Thanks! J.

PS...in rechecking out your pics...it looks good on silver...the chrome showing behind from teh turn signal reflector doesn't look bad but I think it clashes a lot with the NBP.

What kind of paint did you use? Did you use superglue at all to hold the chrome strip? You may want to look into a type-s one, but they are hard to come by.

Are they now?!
No, I actually used hot glue to hold the strip from the back, but when the park bulbs are on you can that it's melted where I put too much. I used rustoleum automotive gloss black. Something I used had to have heated up and caused this film though. And it wasn't super glue. I don't know...but I know from this one time that I used high temp paint to paint a fog light bulb that paint that is super heated up definitely makes a vapor that leaves the lining of the inner housing "hazy". I am going to reopen. and clean up...

I love the look of mine. The reflector defiantly looks silver which goes perfect with my car.

Those actually look pretty good. Look like Type S diffusers with clear in the rear section instead of amber. I like them better than the total deletion of the factory diffuser.

Well type type-s ones are legal, you will not pass inspection with these. Just a heads up, but getting a hold of a pair of type-s are very hard.

That depend where you are live. In MD you are allowed clear or orange.
