Talking Blue LED Interior Mod & Reverse/Tag Lights

Pictures are in no particular order, let me know what you guys think! Also pics are edited to what I saw represented the real brightness of the lights.

They are probably whiter than the pics show...

Undying...those would look SO nice if your passenger courtesy light was working!

Just kidding, gorgeous!

Since 1970! lol

I figured I'd do that instead of blurring the hell out of it, also it helped to show you guys the light it gave off, that was the whole point.

It is, it sets a nice mood to the car and I love that it all matches. I just need to swap the vanity and trunk light. I was afraid I'd rip the headliner or break the trunk light lens.

use a small flathead to carefully press in the plastic on both.
I had bad luck with the vanities, i tried different LEDs' but I think voltage is too low for those, mine would flicker a lot. Or maybe it's the open/close function that turns them on and off. But I went back to oem bulbs for those.

I still vote for you to buy some F&F's and slam that motherfker before you get wheels. The TL OEM 5 stars are one of the only oem wheel I can say I TRULY dig.

LOL, I've heard the F&F's ride like shizz. So I'll be going the Tein Street Advanced. I found them on a site for $800 even, instead of the $940 Tein wants lol. I'll link you guys when I get home, I have it saved on my laptop.

-Mods, would you kindly name this thread "Undying Dreams's Progress Thread", thanks.-

J, do you think $800 is good for the Tein SA? Could I maybe find it cheaper? (not used)

Nice progress so far. Sorry to hear about your LED issues. I never pulled the fuse when I installed mine. I just yanked the old bulbs out and mashed the new ones in and they worked fine.

Also, just to confirm...you have USR side markers, not OEM. The OEM side markers are uniform throughout, but the USR's have that rectangular section in the middle where the LED's are mounted. Here's a pic to explain:

My OEM Type-S side marker is on top and I'm holding the USR side marker:

Keep up the good work!

Thanks, I really like the OEM Type-S but they'll probably want my arm and leg for them so USR is probably my best bet. Doesn't hurt to ask the dealer though, since I work at a car dealer we gets parts at a discount, probably gonna order the A-SPEC like that

You can get them for about $115 for a pair at the dealer.
Honestly, once on the car, you won't miss that they are depo (usr) vs oem.
About the TEIN, that sounds pretty good...I paid $1140 shipped when I bought my SS.

Well, to be honest, i think the one you mentioned is the new and improved version of the basics, no!?! Which would put them about the same price as the basics used to be.

But, but...the rims I'm getting are so SEXY! I want them first lol

I'll put it this way. I'll get the rims and tires mounted and then the car will look like a stupid 4x4 for a 4-6 weeks.

^I have to agree. A slammed TL on stockies is more visually appealing than a stock-height TL with aftermarket wheels.

4x4 FTL.
