yup the first shop that did the work didn't do a good job...so i am getting the hole thing redone... the shop manger got the insurance to pay for the whole paint job...he told them the paint wouldn't match if he did the back half...so now there doing the whole car for freeeeeeeeeeeee.....i wish i could paint it a different color but i don't got the balls..what if i don't like it..different colors look good on certain cars....

 

ahhhh come on...so few people have the opportunity to repaint their car for free, you gotta take advantage of it..

i would go to different dealerships, and get a magazine that has all the manufacturers color options- then begin the process of elimination, keep us updated for sure!

meh, dont like it all that much. Go with corvette yellow. Something ridiculous is the way to go haha

There are like a 1k other colors you could chose from.

Don't do it stock color.

Other stock colors shouldn't really cost any more than yours.

They just mix it up by paint code.

 

Tell them to roll your fenders or shave while they're at it... this way if you ever decide on wider wheels... you're go to go...

Getting a different color will be $,$$$... cause they have to do door jams, engine bay, inside the trunk, etc, etc,.... a whole lot of labor...

What shop are you using???

 

They might charge you alot to change the color and if you dont want to pay that you can always stay white but a different shade. Lexus has a shade that is real nice. Ill try and find it

 

Starfire pearl that lexus uses on their GS's are nice if you wanted to stay white. But other than that man change it up if you have the option.

He was rear ended/hit & run in Va by some drunk and high dude(s). The impact was so bad his rear bumper w/aspec was hanging off as he gave chase to the assholes. Cops were near by and got one of the guys.

He got a shop to repair the damage but it seems that he was not happy with the paint or body lines and he got his ins to get it repainted.

 

Didn't someone on here do the lexus starfire white already. It came out pretty nice. I will search for the link.

 

yup some drunk guys hit me then they took off...i chased them and the cop was right behind me..they crashed into a tree and the cop only got the passenger. of course he claimed he didnt know the driver.. and the owner of the car didnt have insurance... so i was stuck paying my detectable..
