Mike, what did you use to cover your headlights. Is that inside or outside housing. That looks good on ASM.

And that CBP is 4x4 status lol.

Murph....f'in sick. Seriously.... ridiculous.

and Lex, Steven is right. Dropping it will complete the package....the right fitment makes a huge difference. Also, OEM visors or nothing IMO.

Yeah even if just on springs. That will really bring things together without sacrificing much in ride terms.

H&R Sports Springs are a simple solution and very inexpensive versus coilovers too.

No shit Sherlock I figured that much out

More curious, did you just buy more or use leftover of the stuff you used for your foglights?? Either way, it looks good on your car. You have really went off the end and started changing up your ride and doing some out-of-box things.

I like it, keep it up.

So very true Steven. I got mine slightly used in BM for very cheap. Complimented by stock shocks and you have a very nice riding 1.5 drop.

My parents (esp mom with neck problems) couldn't tell it was lowered at all. Usually they refuse to ride in my vehicles due to always being lowered or stiff motor mounts etc.

However if you have any doubts at all, I would save up for coils. Not so much the cost problem, I just don't want to pull my back seat out again to swap the rear supsension.

I got HR sport springs about a year ago, I couldn't wait this long to clear my fender gap. I am ready now to go with coils.

Trust me I've been looking into dropping it I'm just worried about the ride..esp wit the stupid roads out here in Cali. I was thinking of just doing springs but I wasn't sure what to get. I've search but everyone just has there own opinion. I just don't want to be that bouncing car in front of me that I always make fun of cuz everyone in the car is a boggle head.

People make the "mistake" of always suggesting coilovers, which I say is wrong. First, the Type S has stiff suspension already. The Springs will also firm up the ride even more.

For a simple drop....ON A TYPE S, springs are a great alternative.

Now, if it was a Base TL, and you wanted a firmer ride, then coilovers are an excellent alternative.

Thanks guys the F has been great nice change from the TL-S but i do like the roomy interior more on the TL

I had my TL lowered on Megans and they were great nothing wrong with a spring drop as that is what I have on my F now but for the few extra $$ I went with the coilovers on the TL just because of the whole stance fitment look I wanted to achieve just gave me the flexibility to adjust how I wanted to make the wheels fit perfectly. Plus you are going to pay a shop the same in labor to do springs versus coils and coils are only like $600 more for the megans or similar

If doing yourself, coils are easy to justify for the price.

But I must agree with Steven, springs will give you everything you want. Especially doubting the roads.
Ride will remain unchanged if not a small improvement
Car will NOT be bouncy
Wheel gap will be eliminated some but not tucked

You will have to be a little more cautious pulling into some driveways or businesses but day to day driving on freeways and roads should not affect you much to any.

Its also very affordable and will only take a couple hours to install.

Tein, H&R, Nuespeed, Megan and I am sure a few other solutions would be a positive choice. Really its a personal preference.

Valid point, but when people suggest coilovers, it's almost always for aesthetic purposes only, not for a stiffer/higher performing setup. Most of us aren't going to reap the benefits of having the added performance of coilovers anyway, we just want the convenience of being able to choose our ride height.

Hey what size tires did you stretch to fit on your wheels and did you have to roll your fenders? I'm sitting on stocks and I am trying to tuck as much as I can. Thanks.

There are stickers. But Most of us don't rock any stickers. There is an acurazine.com sticker and I believe someone at sometime had UA7SQUAD stickers.
