If the car goes then Legend you are for sure the spring donor. But I honestly don't see this car going very far.
Need to pay for BM brake package as well.

Lights will be here tomorrow so bumper coming back off for ind. fog switch mod.

I also need to paint rear calipers but trying to hold off because I need to replace a lug stud on front pass. and want to replace brake lines as well and be done with the corners.

Once all that is done then engine mods.

And Legend if you are in Dallas you should hit me up on times you will be there. If its on my days off I may swing over there for a day or so. As I am also planning a couple trips this year. First one being a 2 week vacation in Florida with the parents in March.

Happy Friday! My UA7 is at a THIRD shop today for an alignment. The first two couldn't get my car up on the rack LOL. Also getting two snow tires mounted on the rear to match the front two. Bring on the snow.

Heads up everyone, we are trying to get a group buy for Aspec kits. Page 26 has updates on what colors are no longer available.

Ack still has most of the colors and he said its possible if you want to mismatch parts between base and type-s, but you'll need to retro fit it. It's a pretty good deal everyone so add your name if you want to be part of the group buy.

question for you guys and girls... got a set of rays engineering wheels off a car i just bought for cheap and im wondering if theyll clear the brembos. Ive never been really good at the whole offset and wheel thing so i hope you all can clear it up before i try to put them on.

theyre 17 x 7.5 +40mm offset with the standard 235/45-17 tires on them. I know the tires are right, just need to know about the wheels.

Thanks again

doing the math you end up with roughly the same distance from the outer edge of the wheel to the face of the hub/rotor so clearances should be the same. the lower offset makes up for the smaller wheel width with about a .05" difference.

What rays wheels are they?

From my experience with wheel and caliper clearance the design of the face and concavity sometimes have more to do with it than width and offset.

these are what they look like. Obviously mine are 5 lug and have tires on them, but this is them!! hope they fit. I have a feeling that keeping them will satisfy my need to change up the look of the car since i cant mod until after the wedding !! lol

Nice. Been a fan of the 57S (and the 57C too) for a while and always wanted a set in Gold.

Curious to see how they look on a TL-S since I was considering getting Mugen GPs and are kinda similar in design.

This is going to be an interesting weekend. I have new drilled and slotted rotors and new pads coming, these new wheels (fitment willing), and going to paint the calipers brembo copper. Going to be a completely different looking car i think

I will definitely! on a shittier side note... the wheels will not clear the brembos without spacers... Im thinking 10mm spacers all the way around just to pull them out a little bit. I definitely dont want to have to worry about rolling the fenders so i dont want to do 15mm spacers. Unless someone can chime in and tell me that they didnt have issues with rubbing with 15mm's in the rear. I dont really care about the hellaflush look either i just like it closer to the fenders.

Those are nice wheels. I have 20mm in the rear and 15mm in front with no problems on 45 offset wheels that are 8in wide. Hope that helps!

I have a brand new pair of 5mm spacers that I bought, but don't need. If you think they'll help clear the Brembos, let me know.

haha BUSTED! Sooo glad I'm done with weddings. The wedding itself kicks ass, but the wedding prep is awful. Just sit back and let the women do most of the work and nod your head when you're asked a question. That's what I did...

And to think, she'll probably spend a lot of money to look radiant on the wedding day. That means expensive spa clinics.

Ah well, you can spend more money on the car after the wedding!

I know the feeling. We moved into our house back in november and being able to have both her car and my car in the garage and still be able to move is so much better than bareally getting one in the garage and having shit packed all around it.
