Hi guys can somebody post a pic of the S type spoiler for the 3g and the non type S I was told there was a difference but I cant tell. Thanks!

 

I've had both and there is a difference, Type S is bigger. Sorry for the crappy pics, hope you can see the difference.

 

The Type-S spoiler is perfect for the TL-S. With the quad exhaust outlets, the rear of the car screams aggressiveness, hence the larger lip seems to complement that style. The base TL, with the smaller exhaust ports, is more conservative to me, and the smaller lip looks just right. Just my opinion, although I would like to see a Type-S lip spoiler applied to a TL with the A-spec exterior trim kit just for comparison purposes.

Anyone know how it is mounted?...are they both mounted the same??.....if i have base lip and want Type-S lip can i buy it alone??....will it come already painted like my Aspec kit did??


Any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated.

no difference you can put either one ...

 

Just be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for one. It's unbelievable how much more these things run in comparison to the the base lip spoilers. Noth worth it, IMO.

 

Your best bet is to find it on craigslist or from another member on here who is willing to sell one. I've been looking for the past 6 months or so and finally managed to get one!
