So the weather was finally nice enough to wash the car and take some pics. These were all taken about a mile from my house at a business park office complex.

Hope you all enjoy!

This first pic was taken to show you all that the TPMS sesors can work with a multi piece aftermarket wheel.

Looks really hot!!! I don't mind some more angle shots just to see how the lips look like from the back side angle. Very nice choice in wheels as they look perfect on a TL. And finally you came thru with the pics.

Say how many inch lip do you have?? Looks like at least 2.5inches?

I will get some more angled pics up there. The monsoon has subsided a little bit and I will get out there this weekend and get you some more pics of different angles of the car. I'd honestly say the lip is only about 1.75''-2''.

Great Looking TL. This wheel and color combination has been in my dreams for the past two years. Congrats.....you beat me to it. I'll be getting the same combo if I don't find a good deal on a 2002 E55. Oh yeah, can you makes your pics larger?

Damn i love RacingHart CR's.

Finally got to see them mounted on a UA6 TL.

Aren't you the one working on getting GHL to design a catback for the TL? We just installed a GHL 3" turboback on my friends MV5 Golf. Pretty nice quality when looking at the welds, bends, and flanges.

Yea, I am the guy working with GHL. How does your friend like his turbo back? They make a really good product over at GHL. Can't wait to get the process started and get some pics up here for you guys.

I use ImageShack. You can host any size you want. 800 x 600 is usually a good size for viewing. Now, I'm really torn between the TL and the Benz.

You can use the old TPMS sensors or you can buy new ones. I bought new ones so I could still have the sensors on my OEM wheels just incase I ever need to put them back on.

Well, I guess that all depends on what year your car is. 2006 is the only year that offers the sensors and the software for them.

Quick question...since you had your car dropped with the stock rims, and then put the aftermarket rims on...has the overall drop, not gap, stayed the same with the rims, or has it raised the car a bit?

It's pretty close to the same. Maybe a half inch more ground clearance.

Grew up around 56th and Greenway. I have been in Tucson for the last couple of years for work. Can't wait to get back to the valley.

what tpms parts do you need?

twigglius, i like your idea of buying spare tpms sensors for new wheels.

looking at the eStore site, there are 2 parts associated with the TPMS initiator:

002 INITIATOR UNIT, TPMS INFO $46.30 004 ADD TO CART

003 BRACKET ASSY., TP... INFO $5.36 002 ADD TO CART

Would I need 4 sets of these units (initiator and bracket)?

tpms cont'd

What's weird is that only 2 of the TPMS initiator brackets are needed in the car, instead of 4. anyone know why?

All I did was go to the dealership and ask for 4 new sensors. They come individually packed with every part you need. It was about 45 bucks per sensor.

If you look there is a sensor assemply kit... Part number 06421-S3V-A02. I think that is what you are looking for. I found that on www.acuraoemparts.com

Good Luck.

How are the Teins working out? I'm in a big debate between Tein SS and Aspec. I'd really like the bigger drop, but i'm concerned with ride quality w/ 19s. I don't want my TL to ride rough like my dropped RSX did. How is the ride quality compared to stock?

The ride quality is actually really good. Don't buy the A-Spec suspension. Just hammer it with the Teins and adjust the dampening to your liking. I have mine set right in the middle and the ride is very good.

I have lowered 4 different cars and this Tein suspension is by far the best ride of any lowered car I have ever owned.

Are you ever up in Phoenix so you can give me a quick ride in your car? I really do prefer getting Tein, but I just want to make sure I won't regret the decision.

I might be back in PHX this weekend. I can keep you posted. What part of town are you in? My parents are near PV mall and that is where I would be staying if I come up.

I probably should have started a new thread but I will ask in here and see how it goes. As some of you may remember I ordered the H&R RSB in May. I was told it should be available in about 4 weeks. It's now the end of January and I am STILL waiting. Should I just stop being stubourn and order the Comptech RSB with the energy bushings? I'm pretty sure all of you will say YES but I had to ask... Plus I am currently bored.
