A couple of experiments yielded weird looks from the masses

Only one suggestion. Use photoshop to change it to a WDP Then it'll be perfection.

Ps.not a fan of coilovers, I am going with koni yellows whenever I decide to call excelerate since he offered to hook up a nice package with koni yellows + frnt n rr camber kits

Here is the reason for this mod, the fujita CAI sits too close to the driver side foglight to the point that it causes the fog light to get unplugged or just go out all together - I cut the intake ram about 1.5" so that it sits higher behind the bumper

Lastly: When I rev now, the intake seems to be sucking in more air NO KIDDING LOL

 

Oh no you did not!!! Install any baffles with that backyard ram-air intake? I sure as hell would not want to drive that car in a monsoon. Can you say hydrolock?

 

Huh, how would I hydrolock, the hole is pretty far back and the filter is a couple inteches to the driver side so the water at most will only sprinkle the filter... I actually cut the fujita cai tube so that it is even higher off of the ground, hydrolock IS NOT AN OPTION HERE

 

that definitely gets more cold air!! it's good that the intake tube is cut and the filter is few inches back to prevent hydrolock.

 

Ah!! I was thinking that the hole was DIRECTLY over the airfilter. But also, you did mention that its raised up a bit. I was thinking more of a tunnel ram setup. Sorry bout that...

Still, cutting your bumper.... Do you really think that you gain that much more HP at the expense of your bumper?
