Nice! The car looks great. I wish I had a good friend like you to wash and wax my car. Hell, I wish the weather up here is as nice as it is there so I could wash mine. Salt sucks!

Question

Damn, that car looks like its BRAND FUCKING NEW!

Did you take off the wheels and clean them inside and out...even the lug nut wholes are clean!

What did you use to clean the instrument panel...I want to clean and protect my shit...but I dont want to leave it shiney...like a old car car shiny interior .

This shot is the best. The reflection of the building is nearly seamless with the real thing.

If this is what it took to finally get some rain in North Texas, why didn't you do this 3 weeks ago?

lolz look at the mileage on that thing... i don't think it is even broken in yet... honestly i only did the outside... i didn't touch the interior because it was so clean... so seats and gauge cluster are normall clean like that...

but if it was dirty, i have a leather conditioner that makes the seat shine like that... and i know trance uses something for the dash, to prevent dash fade...

It does have low mileage but i seen TLs with the same mileage and their seats look like crap since the leather they use is cheap.

I mean even with the updated 05/06. Acura still uses the same leather. I see people with terrible driver seats before their first oil change. The leather is just too thin and the seat bottom bolsters are too soft so there is a lot of streching and winkles very fast.

Not sure jb, I got one of the last sets the dealer was doing. I think the dealers name was weir acura. But all they did was send the emblems to a place called Mr Chrome. It might be a little pricey but you could send them to him on your own and he will do them. 1sweetTL posted this in the black pear emblems thread..

https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=183

it was in This thread

i haven't really heard of this prob much in the 05-06 TL... but it could be just me not hanging in 3rd gen that much... but anyways, maybe something to bring to your service advisors attention??? i know that another member on here, Shalinz, mentioned this problem to his service advisor and she is going to redo his seats...

im not sure if shampooing the leather will toughen the seat up but it may do the exact opposite and loosen the stiffness of the seat instead...

DAMN, Ethan!! That thing looks like it's just rolled out of the assembly plant. Looking goooood... And that mileage. Do you actually drive it, man? I drive my car only on the weekends and it just cracked 8000 mark last night.

Heh, here's the $1M question: when are you going to drop it and get those Volks???

Probably because his car is not an 04. Look at the seats, they're divided into 3 sections instead of the 2 sections that came on all 04TLs.

I wish I could be on MSN more. Just before thanksgiving my company started blocking all IM programs.

Anyways, thanks for the props, Ethan, Joe. I was thinking about the S/C, but it's too much $$$ for me. It's got tint and CT RSB, though.

If you have the extra 5-6K to blow on a S/C more power to you.
Personally I think your TL is already one of the baddest on this site.

The only reason i did not list as one I would trade for on this iste is cuz it is the same color as mine.
My whose TL would you Trade for thread was geared at trading for something other than what we already have.

Hell if my wife wasn't slammin inot curbs I would put some Volks on mine too then I'd really be Leo's Twin.

Hey Leo we need to set up another Mini-Meet soon.
