Its the inside of your fender. Mine was doing the same thing. I just shaved mine down using a dremel.

funny because on my TL, it was only the right tire that got eaten up by the fender well. the left one was always fine.

could be that your axle sticks out a bit more on one side.

was the car ever in an accident?

is it lowered the same amount on each side?

does it only happen when you make full radius turns or turn into a inclined/declined parking lot on an angle?

roll/pull BOTH front fenders and you should be golden.

i pulled both my fronts and didnt fix this problem with my car. my right side was always getting chewed up.

+1 for dremeling the sharp metal tab.

it is not part of the fender, it is part of the BUMPER (should be near where the bumper and fender meet). just take a look when you turn your wheels full lock while parked and you should see what you need to grind down. my guess is that when you get your fenders rolled/pulled, they only work on the fender part and not the bumper part thus does not fix the problem. good luck!

Yikes. Raise that thing up at least an inch. It's your car, but if I saw a TL driving around that low I'd sigh and shake my head at it.

a body shop should be able to fix that fender..either roll that corner in more or shave it down.. another solution would be to raise the car up more but who would wanna do that when it looks dope the way it is now!!

What did you think was going to happen when you lowered a car that much? How are the insides of your tires doing? How's the handling?

I was just going to say...if the outsides are getting chewed up, you should check out the insides...mine isn't nearly that low and my inner tire wear is awful.
