Talking TL vs. 1999 Freightliner Classic with 475hp, 13speed...

yup Freightliner Classic got owned by my TL..... :smackhed My cousin was driving the Classic. As soon as the light turned green I was already 5 cars length ahead.... and then it was like 10 cars length going @ 85mph.

Some pics after the race for you guys to enjoy!

 :lol1:

How many weight does that truck have? How's about trying w1n78's idea without the trail and see if your Classic will head up in the starting line?

Anyway, I just wish you never send any of them to the roads I'm driving...

If you're not going to mount it on the bumper, why not leave it at home? You'd get a ticket anyway for not having it on the bumper. If anything, having it in the windshield may be like an invitation for a bored cop to pull you over.

Sorry if I'm coming off as a jerk...

Talking What a matchup!

Doesn't DaimlerChrysler own Freightliner? I can see the family resemblance with the rest of their products :thefinger

Oooooo!

I meant the Freightliner had a family resemblance to other DCX products! Not family as in people! YIKES! Didn't want that misunderstood... :lol2:

btw that classic has 500hp detroit in it, my bad for saying 475hp... now we should put a race together for your truck and my classic

If you look closely at the truck you can see it is a 1/14scale Radio controlled semi. Here is a link to some more pictures there are also links to a couple of short videos.

It’s made by Tamiya. It has a sound unit, shaker unit and full working lights including brake and turn signals. It looks really close to the Coronado. I think Tamiya changed the lights so that it’s not an exact copy which would need to be licensed by Freightliner
