Stop hating on "fake" wheels. All wheels are fkn fake until enough people buy them, the name gets well known, and then price goes up and then popped collar molly poppin modders and richer people that love to say they own a name brand pay lots of money for them later. It's not classy. Stay humble, San Diego.
I don't care what you say they fake....but at the same time if that's what u can afford why not. I have rocked cheap, fake wheels in the pass but now i know better so i do better.

Juvi, I hate to break it to you...but if you're driving your car on the street and not racing...there's no "need" for wheels like that. If you can afford it then but if not, you run with what you have. I wouldn't call other wheels fake, they're just cheaper replicas so the average joe can afford them.

Although I have a hard on for Volk's TE37, I told myself it wasn't worth blowing that much money on wheels that would be bent, curb rashed, or any other thing that would send me through the roof. I daily drive my car and my "rotary forged" Forgestars have held up just fine.

^^^ to each there own. No i don't race cars anymore and i would stay they are specifically for racing thats basically what your saying. They are authentic, light weight and look good so i buy them. I agree with you on one point i do think to myself sometimes why spend so much wen its gonna curb rash, dent or some other damage but its just always wat u r use to, and like....as i said to each there own. Whose to ever wanna buy fake or replicas go ahead.

If I spent $4k on "real" wheels and tires and then joe schmo comes along with his $1k Varrstoen replicas and gets all the internet attention, I'd be pissed off too. Juvi's right though, screw what others think. That's why I'm getting replica Type-S wheels for my summer setup with REAL Acura centercaps. It's gonna be epic.

Juvi, wasn't a direct comment at you in particular. It just sounds snobby to make a derogatory comment about fake wheels. That's all...like you just admitted, there was a time when you couldn't afford the "real" wheels either, I'm sure you weren't less of a man for it.

I do realize this about wheel whores though...aside from cost of mount/dismount, the money you spend only gets spent once, pretty much...since you resell them for what you paid for them and have them on for so short a period of time. So, that said, I will say that I see the value in holding off and saving money to buy a quality wheel the first time around.

Personally, and I've never openly admitted this, my wheels are really HP Designs. I didn't like the center cap that came on them and had almost no friends. So I bought the WORK center caps and honestly...my life has changed dramatically. Everyone loves my car now and people call me to like chill and stuff. It's all been really positive and mildly surreal for me.

I like your wheels a lot! It's between them or the Xxr 530s for my spring modding spree.

name doesnt matter, cost doesnt matter. what DOES matter to me is that companies are stealing other's designs and making money off of them. Why not just sell their own unique wheels at an attractive price point?

well said

I was about to get a set of replica wheels. Until i saw pics of the damages after they take on a pot hole. Now U have 2 purchase another wheel (if they still make the size U purchased a year ago).

I will only purchase used authentic wheels. That way when I sell them I'll get about 85% of what I've paid back.

Maybe if everyone stopped criticizing the car the owner would speak up. The amount of criticism on this forum is disgusting. After the 5th post we understood the lip is not the best, the color combo is not the best. Why does EVERYONE have to say the same thing?

Btw it is nitrous's car. He always changes up his setups.
At least I said Sorry.

Had to respond to that since I haven't been on AZ for awhile. :X
