Tint/Clear Headlights

Im wondering how to clear or tint your headlights. Ive been searching and I cant come up with anything. I know some people put vinyl over the amber signal, but apparently thats bad? Help please.

Like NBP said, their has been a numerous amount of threads on here lately on how to do this. Go through the first couple pages on the main discussion. I've replied to about three different threads how to clear your headlights.
