Tint for Carbon Bronze Pearl TL

Hey everyone, I am new to this but I just bought a 2007 TL on Saturday and I am getting the windows tinted this Friday. The color of the car is Carbon Bronze Pearl with Ebony interior. I am trying to decide on whether to tint my windows 30% or 35%. Im leaning towards 35% because I think it may look better with the color of the car. I need to see some pictures though. So if you could post pix of your car with tint that would be awesome so I can get an idea! Thanks!!

welcome Christina! honestly, i dont think u'll notice a difference from 35% n 30%

if you want LIMO dark then 5% is the way to go

but I think 35% will be dark enough

I'd say 20%. You can still see a night and people can only see a shape of you during the day.

Heres my CBP with 30% tint. I think it would look better with a little darker as well. I actually just got pulled over for my tint this weekend and the cops test said it was actually 31% but o well. He let me off with a warning.

35% IMO is the classiest looking tint. With a black interior it will look even a little darker. I just think 35% kind of blends well with the shade of dark grey used all over the Type S model such as the wheels, tail lights, side markers etc etc. Not only that but its also usually the legal limit in most states so you dont have to worry about being hassled. I have 20% on one of my other cars and its a bit tough to see out of at night. My vote went to 35% all around.

Keep in mind that any % tint will be read darker once applied to the windows. I have 35% tint on my windows and it reads out 32.0% on the nose. Anything lower is illegal here.

Classy look is simple and clean light tint. The darker tints sometimes takes attention away from the whole look of the car. Because most of the attention will be on the dark window tint. Just my

I def. Don't want darker then 30%. My last car was 35% and never got pulled over so I don't want to attract the cops by going too dark. I'm in mn and the legal limit is 50%. I think I would be safe with 30% thanks everyone.

I don't recommend going too dark, the car's colour will make it seem even darker. Go light, something around 25-30%

^This.

I had 35% on mine and paid to have it taken off and 20% put on. Def makes it a more comfortable ride and no issues seeing out the windows at night!
