After I had mine installed (SS's also), I drove it for about 2 weeks everyday so they can settle then I brought in for an alignment. I'm sure you will be fine after it all settles since you already got it aligned. But your shop should be free alignments for a year or 12k miles (whichever comes first) and you might as well get it realigned again just to be safe. It's up to you I guess. I'm not too much of an alignment specialist but that's what I did and so far so good.

BTW- love your drop! I left my settings at the recommended height and loved it. No finger gaps all around. I also have my dampening settings at 8f 8r. Good to go! Enjoy your ride...

PEACE!

I opted out of an alignment. My tires still have yet to show wear. I only have about 8k miles on it though. If anything, it's an excuse to get new tires after a few years!

Tein SS is the bomb...
it WILL settle quite a bit actually. I'm at about 1/2" left on the front and 3/4" rears and this is how I sit a 15 months later.

Is it just in the pix, but are you lower in the front than the rear? That first pic looked wierd, maybe it's the shadows. Otherwise, looks good, great job...time for me to go lower.

if you lower it more you MAY need a camber kit in the rear.. I needed one to get close to spec.. but my front was fine without a camber kit.. Any lwoer and I would need a camber kit in the front also..

definitely get another alignment after you lower it more and drive it for a week or so.. trust me.. I have lowered about 20 cars.. our cars tend to have bad camber wear in the back with no alignment from my experience..

Well for mine...
I've been fine with no camber kit the whole time. -2.5 rear. BUT, last time I redropped I was out of my warranty on the alignment so I just made some adjustment using the old "eyeball" technique and ended up throwing the toe out on the rear. It was bad enough to get another alignment and since I was doing that i figured I'd get a camber kit. I gave the 2 arm ebay ones a try (search for a thread I started) for $85 shipped and they seem to have done the job just fine. Running -.5 rear...although it was fine before...I like the peace of mind and the even tire wear.

Well, yeah man, I think that was my point. Had I NOT redropped the car after I wouldn't have thrown the toe out. Meaning, I could have survived with no camber kit. but since I had to spend the scratch for another alignment anyway, I figured I'd throw a camber kit on there and have peace of mind.

Well worth the extra 85 buckaroos IMO. If I had to do it all over, I'd do it right the first time.

I agree .. save yourself money in the long run.. after you lower it. get camber kit. then reallign .. Then you will be good to go! with as low as I think you want to go you will need a camber kit.. Maybe for the front too! depending how low you go..
