Lets revive this thread now haha, sorry guys been busy with work. New career Im a Dental Lab Technician since October. I have been working a lot lately, but have some updated pics and ill share some photos ive been taking.
I shoot for Lower-Standards.com and jdm-culture.com and still shoot for the magazine Original Riots.
Heres a little update of my headliner. It is sagging really bad and needed to be changed
Getting ready to rip off the fabric
Literally falling off by itself
Also wanted to go all out and do side pillars, and paint the grey parts black
Scraped the old glue off with a metal brush to clean a bbq grill with
Pillar
Laid the headliner down and made sure there are no air bubbles
Using clothes pins to make sure the edges get stuck by the adhesive glue
How it looks with the headliner on
Even did my handles, wrapped with suede and sewed it together. Came out OEM, some of these pictures dont do justice but it looks so clean!
Now Im mocking up a template for my trunk, Im going with a custom trunk set up for my sub, amps, and hard wood flooring. Should be a show set up in the trunk. LEDs and plexiglass for one side of my box so i can see my magnet from my sub

So I had to replace my alternator recently, and since my valve covers were leaking oil slowly I decided to change out the gaskets and finally install the p2r IM spacer.
I ordered the valve cover kit the ones that came with the washers and gasket for the bolts, spark plug area, and the valve cover one. I forgot to take after pics because it was late and I just wanted to go to sleep. LOL
Before pic
Oil and dirt everywhere
After taking off intake manifold
Inside of the intake mani, dirty
Intake mani cover before and after pics
And the intake mani before and after pic
Can see that the valve covers area are clean, I took my time and took off all the oil, gunk stuck around that area too.
Super happy that my engine bay wont be leaking and smoking oil anymore. Now time to full detail the engine bay and add the big 3 upgrade.
Thanks bro! Took some time and I was scared to do it since I never take apart anything on the engine haha. Came out good.

yeah the oil is in there because of our PCV system...it lets the oil in the air...you need an oil catch can....
After the oil catch can AND EGR delete, the inside of the manifold is spanking clean
Thank you!! I see, so to better understand. The catch can will help with keeping the oil and gunk out of the manifold? Would I need it if Im not boosted or super high HP?
And the EGR delete blocks the port that recirculates the exhaust gasses into the intake manifold? So less heat in the manifold?
I heard that it affects the gas milage on the car? Does this increase power at all? Or is this same like the throttle body coolant mod just helps with heat soak? Got any pics of the egr delete? thanks bro!!

yes, both the PCV and EGR are re-circulation systems...
the PCV is for Crankcase venting...so oil/vapors are reinserted into the manifold (air path)....hence the deposit in the manifold...
the EGR, recirculated exhaust gases...deleting, will give you a CEL (2 codes)...I dont think you gain anything from this....this just keeps your manifold/engine clean of junk....also the gases recirculated are inert, so it doesnt really affect the performance....
Just sat down and read through your entire thread. Awesome work!!
What are you currently using when you detail your car? I know you had a cabinet full earlier in the thread but what are your current go to?

Thanks for reading! I should update that I have more product now lol.
But my go to things when detailing depends on the type of detail ill be doing.
Basic wash wax I use basic car wash soap, and black fire sealant.
If I do paint restoration to take out swirls ill use, dish washing soap, clay bar, menzerna p400, p2500, p4500 polish, wet sand paper if I need, the machine buffer, tons of micro fiber towels, black fire sealant.
If I need to clean the windows I can take out even light scratches in windows.
But those are pretty much the stuff I use. I used to use the stuff in my cabinet, but I use different product because it works a lot better then the usual Walmart products.
Black is hard to keep nice, speaking of detailing I'm detailing my car tomorrow for the car show Saturday. I'll take more pics and upload.

Ok I'm going to look up some DIY oil catch cans, if not ill buy one. Does a breather do the same thing?
Do you have a pic of yours? Just want to get a better idea of where the hose goes and where to mount etc.
Any other performance mods on the cheaper side for performance? Lol sorry keep asking questions. But I know you know your stuff
I did have mine on but with going light weight I took it off since it was a big setup...am trying to build a smaller one....
will PM you some pix
a breather can is different...in my setup both are the same but in a different setup, you will need a catch can (for the front heads) and a breather can for the rear heads and possibly a valve too....
I got more updates, wondering if people still active on forums. If so ill update my new suspension set up.
Air runner! Missed the forums, I was away trying to focus on some things in life. Will update this thread for sure
