And that gap is killing me so I have spacers Ill be putting them on in a few days.
  1. Roll rear fenders
  2. Add spacers in front and rear
  3. Paint rotors gloss black
  4. Install RDX brake caliper covers
  5. Bleed the brakes and fill with new fluids
  6. Install the J-Pipe & race pipe. Should be delivered any day now
  7. Do alignment again after spacers added

Have to do these before the 30th

Thanks! You should try it. I thought it needed something to help it STAND out
I wanted the glowing ones, but that price for those were out of my range for door sills.

Just got my Jpipe and test pipe in. Installed it last night with my friend and LOVE IT!
Thank you Marcus @Heeltoe for actually getting it to me earlier then quoted.

Had to cut away some of the trans cover, but ended up pretty nice!

Don't mind its a little messy on the cover

And here it is! Came in same day as my Jpipe and test pipe, felt like christmas

Tokina 11-16mm F/2.8 on Canon 60D body. Perfect for wide angle! Stay tuned for even nicer pics, vids.

Post some pics with that lens please! I just looked it up and didn't realize how inexpensive that lens is for being f/2.8. I have the Sigma 10-22, but wouldn't mind something a little better in low light situations.

I will be taking some pics tonight for sure stay tuned for them!
I was looking at that one and also the canon wide angle one, but they were higher then 2.8 also looked at another wide angle from tokina but was f/4.0 which is too high for what I shoot. I get off work at night so most my shots are night shots unless im off or in a lighted parking structure. Also wanted to start shooting landscape also. But ill be posting up pic soon! Love the lens so far!

I went to a camera store to test out the Tokina 12-24 and I wasn't impressed with it at all. Is the 11-16 somewhat new? I don't remember seeing that when I was researching wide angles a couple years ago. I would have probably gone with that over the Sigma.

Yeah I wanted the 12-24 because it was cheaper, but then I looked at youtube videos. F4.0 is too high for me and what I shoot.
Im not sure if its newer, I would think so though for sure.
Its even lower then canons wide angle one. GREAT night shots, I took a few last night but Ill be taking more tonight in a couple hours. LOL

Yea, when we installed my J-pipe, my Type S felt really different. It was a lot peppier! It almost feels like an untamed stallion.

Thanks bro! Sorry I havent gotten to record any sound clips I have been getting off work late lately, but I will do one tonight! I have a few videos of the Jpipe and other mods in the car while I raced, but I lost to a Z in the video... Hes modded though, far from stock. I did good for AT he was MT
With all the mods I did so far, I feel a BIG difference from stock though

The pics look good. My only advice on shooting with a wide angle that I've had to learn is... get close! All of my best shots from car shows is when I get all up on the car. I have to worry about my shadow most of the time b/c of how close I get to a subject when shooting it.

Also, for rolling shots, slow down your shutter speed so the wheels actually look like they're moving

Great shots though, looks like a nice meet.

True that, experimenting with the lens. Close is better with this wide angle

Yes your right I was kinda kicking myself after we jumped off the highway, my other shots in earlier post had a better rolling affect... The lens I was using first was stock kit lens 18-135mm. Kind of got used to the lens better now, time for round 2! Got a shoot with Evo 9 and pimped out genesis that gets featured everywhere. Hopefully those come out better.

Sound clip of the stuff I installed recently. Didn't get a chance to record anything from the outside while taking off and drive by, but I should be having some footage a little later.

Friendly race with my friend on the day cruise. Nissan 350Z, he upgraded to racing clutch (not sure brand or specs), TB spacer (not sure brand or specs), IM spacer (not sure brand or specs), made his exhaust full straight pipes and put truck tips, Cold air intake (not sure brand or specs), and has a couple other mods I believe.

Kinda random question, but did you do anything special to fit all that into your signature?

Forgot to add that when I raced the Z the first time, was when I bought the car. I got smoked. He was tripping out on how fast my car got since then. LOL!
I still need to do more mods then Ill be able to race him and win for sure.
Z=no passengers or sounds
TL=GF+80LB sub/box and my amps etc..

Found your thread finally lol

You need to do a write up on the double din install. My factory navi crapped out so I'm considering ripping it all out and going with an aftermarket unit. For the same price as the alpine rebuild I'm sure I could retro fit a budget double din in there instead.

Thread update: Sorry guys I have been caught up with some bills and my camera haven't been on forums in a few weeks. I tend to buy tons of things also when im on AZ LOL! Which isnt a problem though I love new parts.

I bought the license plate hider. Show-N-Go the manual version. Didn't want to spend $135 on a electronic one with a button even though that would have been cool.
BEFORE

AFTER

So I got 5 new tickets since April 2013. (The reason why I havent bought new parts)

Have the others at home.[/B]
Some of the citations:
No reconstruction permit (Anything you modify on your car needs to have reconstruction permit. Examples: Engine mods, exhaust mods, HID WONT pass this inspection unless its stock balasts for HID, lowering springs, coil overs, Bags WONT pass at all) $70
No reconstruction permit $70
Speeding 25mph over speed limit $192
No License on me $122
Again No License on me $122
Illegal tint $287
SUPPOSEDLY My UR Side Markers (Switchback) are illegal in HI? $57 ticket
Parking ticket, my meter was 5 minutes expired $35
I am super pissed, but my fault for being so LOW and my fault for no license on me... Oh well wont be depressed about all this, wont get me any where. So im working on getting the reconstruction permit. Have to back track to get this thing... Its such a PAIN.
Need to lift the car about 1.5-2 Inches in front and 2.5 in the back. If that is still tucking tire, would have to lift it more. Then take it to get alignment $130, then take it to get it checked out by the guys that give out the Reconstruction permit $15. If I pass then I get the sticker to put on my car. Then I have to lower the car back down again to how I like it and do another alignment. $130
Kinda pissed at myself for not doing the recon permit in the first place. Again learned from my mistakes.

Well now thats aside, lol on to some pictures I took recently.
I joined a car club SMG Hawaii (Sexii Munkii Garage) Pretty popular in Hawaii.

My camera bag came in, bought some other goodies for the camera, but dont have the pics lol. Timelaps remote, wireless remote, bag, more filters, looking into a good tripod soon.

Washed the car

Did a few rolling shots of my friends Evo9, thing is a beast!

Day off finding new spots to shoot at

When I was raising up the car I spotted this, had to buy 2 new tires for the front :/ I think the tire was rubbing on the lower arm or something in that area. These tires were like 5 months old?!

Replacing the tires that day

Parking lot pimpin at the mall

Found this cool wall someone spray painted

Quick shot of my friends Civic w/polished works

Experimenting with rolling interior shot

My friends Accord

My friends helping me flip my tires, wear from the camber

Hope you guys like the update, sorry for not posting as much. Will keep this more active. Getting some new parts soon. Im replacing front motor mount, my hood keeps closing without my holding it so im replacing those things also.
Debating on PCD since I heard good stuff about those.
If anyone can add their experience with these please let me know.
Its either PCD or Cat back exhaust. Probably not looking to get ATLP or anything crazy like that. Since im not willing to drop $1,200ish plus shipping :/
Well see how it goes.
