FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
They came very well packaged in USPS Priority mail box. Right now I do own USR sidemarkers which i got 2 years back and they have been nothing shy of PERFECT !!! no complains at all....
These are switchbacking - indicating sidemarkers....what combination am testing ? I really dont have a clue, will post the install.....
Once I test and give my feedback to USR (Vendor on Azine aka fishcake321 on ebay) he will have them mass produced. Cost ? I really dont know what he is gonna market em for....
DETAILED VIEW:
These are the smoked or the blacked out version....they will be available in CLEAR as well.
Construction looks great.
Wire looks long enough to tap to the indicating wire
Factory plug given to light her up
Overall looks awesome
Will write about light output and take a video when I install her....

There must have been some advancements in switchback sidemarkers technology. Where is the relay? It must be inside there somehow? Perhaps Link can shed some light on this for me since he is the expert.
Anyways I have had my switchback sidemarkers for about 2 years now also. Nobody notices it is custom unless its another TL owner and even then most don't notice until you point it out. I do like them for the safety factor of having a blinking sidemarker when changing lanes on the highway at night.

Cool, you need to get some resistors or do that new fuse box trick I read about to eliminate the hyperflashing. I just have the old fashioned load resisters because I did mine awhile back. Get the front ones installed and then post a video at night so we can see better.
Anyways they seem to work great, I am impressed with how small they are I wonder how he makes them if there is a tiny relay inside or something or is just no relay needed anymore? Hopefully InfmaousLink checks this as I am curious.

yes....i have a resistor waiting....
but since this adds more load to the circuitry i was kinda hoping this will fix the hyperflash.....will install the front and see if it does....else will install the resistor in the flash unit....

There are probably built just like the switchback 7443 bulbs with built in Resistors for the LEDS and a relay for the "switchbacking". Everythin built into the circuit board.
The original side markers were made 2 years ago from scratch LEDS and a some relay magic then later made by breaking a switchback bulb and using 2 of the 6 sides which already have a dual color PLCC bulbs.

I'd use the GERZAND DIY as its the easy way to do it
But honestly, unless you want the OEM style, i'd wait for Swoosh to finish playing with these to make a decision.

I was really hyped when I heard that switch-back sidemarkers were going to be in the making but I'll be the first to give you my honest impression about these.
They still look cheap in comparison with the OEM side markers. The whole sidemarker is smoke black EXCEPT for where the LEDs lay, which is pretty translucent and clear. Doesn't look OEM at all. I was hoping that it would be available in grey (Like the Type-S) and the whole side marker would be grey without being translucent where the LEDs are.
I currently have my rear red side marker smoked out with VHT Niteshade in black and the LEDs can be seen perfectly without a problem, so why the clear translucent LED area boggles me.
I can't comment too much on the switchback part because 1. it's day time so it's hard to see like you mentioned and 2. you don't have any resistors so it hyper-flashes like a mofo.
If I were to get these, I would hope that they come available in Type 2 switchbacks because when you have a 07-08 TL that has turn signals in the mirrors already, Type 1 switchbacks makes the front end look way too busy and "light polluted" if you will. That's the reason why I opted for Type 2 front LED switchbacks because having the turn signal go WHITE / AMBER / WHITE / AMBER / WHITE / AMBER is too busy when my turn signal on my mirrors is just blinking "AMBER AMBER AMBER AMBER".
Sure type 1 attracts eyes without a doubt and looks nice, but having a 07-08 with turn signals in my mirrors I wouldn't go for Type 1's whether it be front turn signal switchbacks or front sidemarkers.
If I had a 04-06 TL with no turn signal mirrors than I would surely go for Type 1 front and side marker switchbacks no doubt.
On another note, your paint is shiny as fuck. I have a NBP and it's not that shiny :|

YES
YES
these will go on sale pending the testing
yes this is what a desi with sore throat sounds like
the front ones are blacked out ones....they are from USR as well....you can buy those right now from his website:
uniquestyleracing dot com
how do you know all that
simple...either a DIY or buy these and wire em up
hahaha...the word "indicate" was the cue to my girl to turn the signal on....said it twice and she still didnt turn em on LOL....
yes....the built looks awesome and same thickness as the stock or the prev USR version
you confused 99% of the people on here with this comment LOL
but the black with clear LED area is what i did....it flows really well with my car and theme....instead of blacking out the full sidemarker i really like this....
but well as am testing this....will be welcome to put your comments so USR can built them in various variations....
about hyperflashing....i looobe it LOL.....also i thought introducing new LED's (hence resistance) might fix the hyperflashing....will install the front and if it still hyperflashes then will add the load resistors....
i did it with the hazard on....still hyperflashed

LMAO just saw the video.... INDICATE was used atleast 17 times lol.
Night Videos!!!
And you sure about the Hazards VS turn signals... I remember before i had load resistors that hazards always blinked at the normal rate.

Viet, remember your mirrors are AMBER/OFF/AMBER/OFF/AMBER. Having type 1's should match everytime everylight hits amber. While i do get the whole busy look, its not like its on a time delay where you'll see it light up amber from headlight to tailight one by one lol. It should be in unison, which should give it a better overall look

Steven....sure thing buddy.....lets meet up and do another photoshoot
TripAcez: yes it does look busy coz of the hyperflashing....will have more/better videos in couple days....
