I'm not sure, it was on the car when I bought it, it looked great and matched the dash perfectly. The only thing that bugged me was a cutout for the airbag to deploy. I got tired of it after awhile and figured why would I not get it replaced after spending as much as I did on other stuff.

I am Kinda pissed that you got your rear sub frame brace and you ordered it this month.
I ordered my Rear subframe brace from Heeltoeauto on last month februrary 4th and STILL have not received my rear subframe brace and I put in tickets too asking Marcus whats up...
These are my help desk tickets I sent to Marcus. He said I have to wait 2 MONTHS to get my rearsub frame brace because they're getting it from Malaysia... Is something going on here?? I want my fucking car parts now!!!
This is the part I ordered. as I see it does not replace the rear sway bar right? If so, I'm going to have to buy a rear sway bar and a front sway bar so I can have maximum stability.
What should I tell the people at heeltoeauto now? Are they taking me for a ride here?

It's in really good shape, I've met him a few times.
Thanks Jeremy

The ones I got were only for the front, I wanted the rear brace but it will not clear the atlp exhaust. I had a problem with fitment on one and he is taking it back. The braces are manufactured in Malaysia so unless he has them in stock it takes time. Front and rear sway bars will make a difference in handling as well but are not required. I have ordered many parts from heeltoe and when I've had a problem he has been willing to make it right. I usually check to make sure they have it in stock before ordering though. Sometimes responses get missed because it seems like they have multiple people working on them at different times. I sometimes have to send another response before I can get an answer. I do not beleive he is taking you for a ride but I would contact him again.
Thanks Jeremy

I ordered a couple chassis braces from heeltoe and received them yesterday. One bolted right on but the other hit the subframe before it came close to mounting up.
I'm on aspec suspension and there is 5" of clearance from the the lowest point of the bar.

I went to Atlanta this past weekend and also went to the tail of the dragon since it wasn't to far away.
These were from the trip up there
These were some of the photos I found from photographers that were throughout the road.

This is cool! That business just hangs out on that road taking pictures all day in hopes that people will buy them...? Interesting concept (if I understand it), but those shots are really cool.

Thanks, I'm still going through all the photos to see which ones I like the best and then I'll get a few. Those photos are from one company and only about half the ones I found.

I painted the whole caliper each coat, then took paint remover and rag and wipe down each letter. Came out better than I thought it would. The letters would have been very difficult to make off and get it right. I saw some people tried painting the letters but it was difficult to do and a lot of people weren't happy with it.

The calipers look great.
I'd love to take the Corvette to the Tail of the Dragon! Last year, I went to the National Corvette Museum birthday bash. Some people were going to the Dragon after the event. I had to get home, so I couldn't go. This year, I'm not going to the Bash because of work.

Thanks, I was going to sand it but the rl calipers have little groves in the lettering so I wasn't sure how well sanding would have worked. The razor blade I a good idea to but not sure about the groves.

The mount has been holding up great. I've put about 1500 miles on it and drove the car up to the tail of the dragon where I kept it in lower gears some of the time. I think the fisrt one wasn't welded correctly because I never noticed the weld that much. On the mount I swapped and the replacement I just got you can clearly see the welds.

My brother came into town last weekend so we decided to modify my headlights. I kept them mostly stock but switched to type s diffusers and zkw-r lenses.

Originally I was going to black out the chrome on the headlights but figured since the inspire fog lights were chrome I would leave the headlights chrome to match. I couldn't find any pictures of the stock headlights with type s diffusers but i think it came out pretty well.

Nice, man...
I initially hated it, but now that I've gotten used to the firmness and after a few minor adjustments...
I love my spec 3+ with lightweight flywheel!
I drove Ivo FamilyGuy's too...he has the spec stage 2...butter smooth and firm and strong. Although he had some issues with his that they worked with him on.
In a way, I think oem with light flywheel could be great.
Being that I'm 07 manual...I see flashpro in my future too.
What tuning option will you end up going with?

If I do any of them it will be a stage 2 or less, I don't track the car and I've never even launched it hard the stock clutch still holds the power but the inconsistent pedal is driving me nuts. do you like the stage 2 spec clutch better than the stage 3? When I tune the car I am going to purchase the flashpro from vittuned because they have a deal where you can by the flashpro and tune and get a discount. He did one of my friends tl-s auto and he was happy with it. initially he got it tuned locally but they didn't do a good job with it. Right now I'm still researching because I have to get a new ecu, some wiring harnesses, and repin a few wires. If it was a simple as it is on the type s I would have already done it.
