Thanks man, I appreciate the compliment. If my car is even half of yours, I'll take it. Your progress thread is largely my inspiration on how to model my car after.

That looks great! I am still torn though...I can't decide if the ACURA and TL badges "complete/fill out" the back, or if I want the totally clean look.

^^ if your careful you can remove the emblems and put them back on, if you feel the
look doesn't seem right to you.

^ it's on my radar...but also considering the other wheel options out there. I REALLY like the stock 17's on the TL in terms of design.

Does anybody know of similar styles for the stock rims but in 18"? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Oh and also...got the A-Spec suspension installed. I'm full A-spec now . Now I just need that badge haha.

A teaser of what I had done today...

These tails were done originally to color match the Anthracite TL. I took a gamble to see how they'd look on my SSM. So far I am satisfied

Thanks man! Yeah it's a great compromise between comfort and handling around the corners. Only regret: Not doing it earlier!

Here's a shot with the new lights while turned on:

^Nice. I actually contemplated buying them but I wasn't sure how AM would look against my CBP. It looks pretty damm good with SSM tho.

Thanks friends....I'm in a limbo in terms of what I should do next for a mod. Wheels seem like the obvious choice of course, but need suggestions for 5 spoke wheels similar to the stock design (looking at 18 inch wheels)

Haha yeah, I saw you post in that thread. I am sure it would have looked clean on your car for sure though. Honestly the color matched "Anthracite" really looks dark grey/black more than anything from afar.

Personally, I love the subtle carbon fiber portion where the reflector should be

Vossen wheels, if you're looking for 5 spoke. And yes, definitely go 18's.

CV3's correct? I love the look of them and I've considered that model, but do you think it would look out of place without an aggressive drop?

The A-Spec isn't the lowest drop out there I suppose, but I do wish to maintain that ride level.

I have the H&R Sports Springs, which is a modest drop. The Vossens would look great, even with a modest drop.

But don't do one without the other, in my opinion.....

I really like the gunmetal aspecs however, I'm big on the "clean oem" look.

Everyone goes for Aspecs. The Vossens are clean, but unique (in my opinion).

I don't think 18" vossens with aspec springs will look good
I don't think it will be low enough to pull off 18 aftermarket. Will look out of place...
Stick with the OEM look and get Aspecs

I would def search around for pics of peeps with aftermarket wheels and aspec springs to see if its something you'd like before pulling the trigger

The A-Spec wheels are 18" though as well. There has to be SOME aftermarket wheels out there that are 18" and can be pulled off with the A-Spec springs...at least I hope there are.

As far as the Vossens...looks like I'm out of luck anyways...it seems that they only make them 19" and up for the CV3s? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Good stuff...you wouldn't happen to know any notable ones, would you?

One thing for sure is I know I won't go 19's. It's either stay at 17 with the stockies or go up only an inch.

Friend picked up the new Honda Accord Sport. I must say it is a very nice car -- much better rear end than the outgoing one. Honda family shot here
