Somebody Get a Flashlight! (56k rub 2 sticks together)

So I wanted to do a shoot after some light modding - 6000k HIDs, LED License plate lights, LED reverse lights, Red Lug Nuts. and i had the nokya fogs already.

Let me know what you think of the mods/pics. Taken on Canon EOS Rebel xti

Make sure the lug nuts are NOT cone seat which looks like this: \_/

You need ball seat lugs with the stock wheels: (_)

correct. OEM rims and OEM lugs have Ball seat lugs (more rounded) vs almos EVERY aftermarket rims and aftermarket lugnuts are cone seat. cone seat lugs will not fit well on ball seat rims.u prolly have it like this hahah (\_/)when it should be like this \\_// (after market lugs/rims) and or like this ((_)) (OEM rims and lugs)

Thanks, I'm gonna check that today. If they are wrong, I'll change back to stock, but just for my own knowledge what damage do they do? because they've been on for a month... shit.

To be 100% honest with you, they make visibility a little worse. I'm not sure why, but if I look in the back up camera, I now see much less.

Thank you, but I didn't paint them. I bought them from ebay, but I've since learned that they may be wrong for my rims. but if you want to do it yourself, i suggest giving powdercoating in your toaster oven a try. my friends do that for small things

Honestly, I doubt that anything would happen.

You run the risk of damaging your rims and under hard cornering, like on a canyon, a lug might come loose since the only contact between the lug and rim is on the bottom of the lug. Less friction equals more of a chance that the lug might get free on its own. That's my theory anyways.

If you do end having the wrong lugs, send me a PM. I might buy them off you.

Thanks a lot, I don't have the scratch for new rims so I decided to spice it up a bit with the lugs to accent the red on the car

Umm I actually do lol. Only reason I do is because on my side of the street. We can't get any type of internet faster than dialup because the cables arent up to date. I live in the boondocks, doubt theyre going to update the cables anytime soon. Thank god for 3G phone internet

^ would really really love a drop, but my dad doesnt want me voiding any kind of warranty, so this is probably as far as my car will go as long as its still covered with the exception of maybe a sarona or atlp window spoiler
