Where in Lancaster are you? Are you in the city or outside?

Where's the front windshield?

No more chip in the windshield. It's kinda weird watching someone remove your windshield. It was the best way to clean those hard to reach places though.

:thief:

A stone chipped it on Wednesday. I had it replaced for $100. Better than repairing it for $75. The chip was directly in my line of sight.

I know for a fact that its not the wheels...because I just bought new wheels, and it still vibrates. I'm pretty sure its a wheel bearing.
I had a bent wheel as well. It was replaced and the vibrations got better but it didn't completely go away. I replaced tires 3 times and finally the Michelins MXM4's I have and 3 road force balance tries and it is a lot better.

Did you repair it or replace it.

I reduced my Comprehensive Deductible about 3 years ago from $500 to $100 and it increased my premiums about $100 a year. It is well worth it for the 2 cars.

Some New Pics

OH NO!!!!!

The reason for this "demo"....

When I got the car the passenger side was scratched pretty bad. It was on the list of things to replace. Dealerships wanted about $300 a side to replace them.

So I went the other route....the Blackmarket.

I will try to take some day time pics tomorrow. Me and Elliott washed the car today but it was dark by the time I got done.

It is difficult to see on these pics but they fit perfectly.

Some New Pics

Suppose to be dry the next couple days so I figured I'd do a little wax-on-wax-off.

The side skirts I got to replace my scratched ones were from a Type S. I really like how they look.

Damn I love CBP. Gorgeous color.

And I agree, the Type-S sideskirts look great!

Well, I finally got around to that clay bar.

Friday evening Elliott and I washed it. Friday night when he went to be I debadged it and clayed it bumper to bumper. Took about 2.5 hours and a lot of work but it has never been cleaner. Saturday morning I put a nice coat of wax on it. Saturday afternoon I changed the oil and rotated the tires. While the wheels were off I cleaned and waxed those as well.

Shiny....

All total I think I spent about 7-8 hours working on it this weekend and unfortunately I didn't even get to the interior or under the hood. I will try to carve out some time this weekend to take care of that.

BTW, the car is just under 110K. I have some dings on the car and the front bumper and hood has a couple stone chips on it but I will have to live with that for now.

Next up will be to swap the suspension. I have a set of 6 speed (full corners) to install. They have no miles on them. The previous owner swapped them for Aspec within the first 1000 miles or so.

I will do the ball joints and probably do a RSB at the same time. Passenger side ball joint has a tiny tear in it and I can squeeze grease out. Every so often I hear a click when I turn. I'll get Acura to confirm that is what I need to do.

Next oil change I will also do a 1x3.

120k and some change.

I've barely driven 2k miles since December though. I've been at school and I'm not working.

I'll catch you by the end of the year. And I still call dibs on your Aspec wheels when you decide to trade in the car.
