lol,

i did my entire car... took about 8-10 hours? from wash/clay/remove swirls/polish/wax.. i had a polisher though, and that can be pretty pricey, if you wanan do it by hand u can go with the meguiars 3 step deep crystal cleaning process.. that works if u have minor swirls.. and use meguiars scratchX for the harder swirls.

sorry, thats the quickest way i can sum it up without going in to much detail.

Actually, I saw your post in the Megs forum. I am surprised you were able to remove the swirls with only the #80 and a white polishing pad. I had to use an orange pad and #83 for my last detail. Maybe some inconsistency with the paint process at Acura.

Dude... is sad that you do a better job that the acura dealers at detailing.

My car had over spray from a paint job hey did, so i took it in and told them to clay bar the shit out the car, they ended up polishing the shit, next thing you know i got hologram mrks on my car, took in again to fix, so today after 2 days glze is off them shits is still there......shoudl of know better than to take it back.

Great job, love the pearl effect your car is now showing.

oh yea? hahas thats where i get all my detailing tips from the megs fourms, really useful

im assuming you're using LC pads? maybe thats the problem? i used megs 8006 pads, and they worked perfectly. i actually got out some vERY deep scratches with the #80 as well.. just took some time but they came out

yeah.. my friend who owns a 08 TL-S NBP brought his car into acura for some "detailing" all they did was use stuff that will scratch your paint and just was over everything. He had so much residue left in places that you can never to. He pays me now to detail his car I told him, everytime he takes it in for service to tell the ppl to leave the DIS " dealer installed swirls " out!
