lol call me noob but how did you get two of the loops on one hook? last time I tried it wouldn't go in together...
That'd be a nice set-up for me, so my tri-pod wouldn't go rolling all over the place.
I might have to try to imitate

there is a slight variation which I used... I put the 2 forward hooks on the long net on the bottom clips, that way I put things under the net rather than on top, because on a curve, everything moves over to the driver side and falls out
and also the net you have covering ur navi I mounted on the driver side to hold leather conditioner, windshield washer fluid, work gloves, latex gloves, blanket, and a towel

Did it a while ago.. a lot easier than I thought. Realized that I couldn't hook the longer/bigger one was because one of the spots already had too hooks from the smaller net in use. Then I realized that... with your set up.. stuff can fall out to the driver's side such as stillhere mentioned.. so I shortened the length making it look 'squished'. Which should be perfect for me as I just want to put a tripod and other misc things there... and all other stuff behind or infront of the net. Also to the right, I also have car-washing fluids towels and gloves.. as well as some tools.

It's funny how screwed up my net is in my car. It's so funny how it can take a masters degree to figure the right way to install it. I love the pictures. Now I know how to install the big net.

Hopefuly this time will work for me
everytime I look at a post like this, I go "OMG, that's how it's supposed to be. I 'll do mine tomorrow morning."
The next morning, I try and it does not work...may be my cargo hooks are messed up or something...
this one seems to be easier to look at and follow....I think
thanks to the OP

I have the Trunk Tray and I havent cut the holes out yet. I am afraid if I do so and I put a leaky cooler back there or something that it will leak through the net holes onto the carpet. Anyone else with the trunk tray figure out a way to still use the nets without mauling the tray?

My 2005 TL is such a great bargain and has lots of toys. Who would've thought it also came with a Rubic's Cube?!?
Thanks for the pix - they are VERY helpful.

I have had my 05 for 3 years now and I had never been able to figure this out. Hopefully I can do it. It almost seems like you gotta be a damn rocket scientist to put it on correctly

This is one of those things some of us screw up on but never want to ask because we might sound like a big ol "noob" haha. Thanks for the pics!
Dougler: I was also thinking about cutting my trunk tray, but your idea is way better.
