I won't talk out of turn...maybe it was the 1 off product that K1B spec had made that was the problem.

Just plan to have it body worked smooth...
I'm sure it'll be fine, looks like it has a longer angle on top, which probably helps.

 

What's wrong with painting fiber? It says it comes ready for paint...shouldn't have to sand anything.

 

That wasn't my experience. I didn't say there was anything wrong with it.

 

So I have been planning to do this for a long time ! I finally grew a big enough pair to do the grill mod and I must say I love it !

First part is the hardest for sure, cutting the middle bar out
There is no going back ! I used a dremel to cut it !



Then you have to fill it with the fiberglass bondo, which was a pain to sand !



Mine is not perfect it could use some filler and more sanding but I did not have any so it will do for now ! So I then dipped it black with glossifer.



I put the mesh on, dipped the emblem white for some contrast and called it a day I love how it made the front look !









PS I need to get a camera I know, my iphone 6 sucks for pictures with the lifeproof case on it

Nope a friend of mine works at an audio shop and they did it all !

 

^ my place wouldn't even do it. the shop is called kustom auto and they said its too much custom work LOL. something about heater controls and they couldn't find a dash kit or some shit. Goofs

 

Just got my second set of custom headlights from Mr.Bruce O'Shack installed today !
Mods done to headlights:
Blacked out
Clear lenses
Red projector ring and bar
real zwkr lenses !










Also got a EndlessRPM decal to rock !

 

the only reason they did it is because my friend has a TL with double din also haha so they knew how to, I think his user name is ru_jelly !

its only 50% so it would be hard for a cop to give me a ticket for it ! when its cloudy outside you cant see in my car at all lol

 

again I can't find a place to do it haha. its illegal here to tint your front windows but they do it anyway so I did that but I asked about 50% on the windshield and he said no way. too much liability lol.

I have 80 on my windshield, i wish i had gotten 60 or 70! 50 is pretty damn dark haha

 

I almost matched the sides and did 18 haha, I'm a total vampire when it comes to being in my car lol

 

haha yea i really like the feeling of being in my own area people can't look into, but man with the all around dark tint and my black interior it gets pretty dark already.

cops pull a lot of people over for tint here in socal (i've been written up twice for side tint) so it's a fine line. next car will be 60 though!

 

Cops in my town dont care its just the state troopers they are so nit picky about everything man !

Haven't posted on here in awhile but I am back !

Last month I ended up hitting a raccoon, It cracked my bumper and aspec lip. It also destroyed both fender wells and some stuff underneath.

This is how she looked after the bumper was taken off


I decided on a 07-08 Type-S bumper with aspec kit to change up the look a bit.

But I cannot decide if I want todo the grill mod again Thoughts and opinions ? might just dip the grill black and do a white emblem, but not sure











Waiting on my fogs to arrive and then i will install them.
Also got a HIC v2 roof spoiler and throwing around the idea of some new custom tails

endlessrpm j-pipe and test pipe to go with the catback
Rv6 v3 PCD not installed yet
tire lettering

Slowly but surely getting to where i want it ! next is coilovers and wheels (work kiwamis or cr2p, open to other suggestions as well)
