Roof Spoiler

Please post pictures of your roof spoiler with info on where you bought it. Would especially like to hear from fellow Type S owners. Thanks!

I put one on my Auto TL, but sold it. I have a wing spoiler now, and would gladly trade someone their Anthracite deck lid for mine with no spoiler for free. I guess what im saying is I want one on my new car, and prefer a bare decklid with a roof spoiler myself! Go for the RS!

Ana, be sure to do a search on the Search Engine of Acurazine. This has been well covered.

Quick rundown of the potential roof spoilers for our cars:

ATLP V1
ATLP V2
Sarona
eBay Duraflex [I think?]
eBay M3 Style
eBay "JDM" Style
eBay ... version 2? roof spoiler with small overhang, refer to Mr. Forum Member: Sandals

They all fit well, minus the "JDM" style where it has roughly a 1/5-1/4" gap on each side.
Depending on eBay vendor, the spoiler may also fall 'short' at roughly 1/6-1/5" gap each side.

ATLP V1 had a small defect where half the spoiler was not flush.
Duraflex[I think?] is same as ATLP V1

and as stated eBay/Duraflex = ATLP V1 so no refer to first pic.
I didn't post all of the user's pictures... You should ask them or find their threads for more photos.

Hopefully that helps you make a decision, whichever it is I'm sure it'll work nicely.
Also hope that helps anyone else... rather than going to various threads finding the threads.

Wow thank you! Really appreciate you taking the time to do that. The eBay "M3" Style roof spoiler just might be the one I've been looking for.

The eBay roof spoilers are pretty generic.
By searching in eBay "Acura TL Roof Spoiler" you should find it very easily.

The great thing about the eBay roof spoilers is that most vendors will paint-match the spoiler for you. The general shipping time is approx 1-2 business weeks. Usually between 7-10 business days from the info I've seen.

Very helpful info! To me, the JDM style and the "New" style just look like an extra piece of trim at the top of the rear windshield, they don't resemble a spoiler at all.

I know it sounds like a really dumb question but let me explain why I asked. When I went to order online through EBay's seller kyonick, and selected Type S, it told me that the rear roof spoiler won't fit my car....uh wth?? It'll fit a base TL but not Type S...Gotta be an error right?

They are very similar and so is the price after comparing shipping costs. That's why I'm having such a hard time deciding..

Got it on EBAY, but if I am not mistaken, it is the same one the HEELTOE offers, only thing is I payed $100.00 + shipping. As the one on HEELTOE, I had to do some mods.

That's the eBay duraflex if I'm not mistaken.
Back when ATLP was run by Mike, I believe duraflex was the supplier or something---which explains why they have the same design and same defect as the first batch of ATLP v1 roof spoilers.

Thinking about snapping this up in AM, I'm having trouble distinguishing all the different ebay ones...just hoping the fit on this one is pretty well

I've also been reading this https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/paint-codes-difference-between-nh643m-nh643mx-622686/

Apparently AM is a pretty hard color to match right on ><

Thanks for the complement! The thing is that a few members haved sent me PM's asking the same as you. I tried to find the transaction in my EBAY acount in order to find the seller, but I could not find it. But as I have told the other members, I am pretty sure it is the same one that is sold in HEELTOE.lol

The eBay Duraflex-ATLP-V1-Look-a-Like is a hard item to find on eBay these days.
Seldom do they appear in the stores. I'd say once every month I'd find it at least once.

edit: by the way twisdit, that is a very good color match.

edit: by the way, here's mine; custom:
