rockstar143's '04 NBP progress thread (part deux continues after 6 year hiatus)
Hmmm, I bought it off some ebay seller that also had them listed on their own site...redline, or something like that. Took like a month to get them and they are the smoked ones. Austin Undying was the first to get them, helped him install and knew instantly that I'd swap to those.
Really? You don't want to wade through 260 pages of bullsh*t to know what suspension I have?
Tein SS, fenders rolled...225 tires and maxed out with corrected camber to factory spec all around.

IYO what type bulb would be best for these fogs to match the stock headlights?

Thanks boys...
so after being rushed out of that spot for a shot in the S2000 the other day due to it being a 1 lane exit from that development. I went back with the TL yesterday, my 35MM prime and some nice dark clouds rolling in.

Thanks, Anil. She's still beautiful in my eyes. Honestly, I just keep shooting/sharing to practice different techniques and backdrops...I know she's had her share of the spotlight. Retiring her jersey!

Thanks, man...
I guess it's hard to get to a point of being "done". I think that a lot of people change wheels constantly because of that...I'm sure people pop in and think...MEH, MORE OF THE SAME.

Thanks, man.
Grill is professionally painted NBP by our very own member "Wacker"
Brembo's color was stolen from ebelp...it's high temp silver as a base (from previous color I had done) then Satin Lagoon regular paint from home depot, apply the decal and about 6 coats of clear. The high temp base is the biggest thing...and I did teal at least a year and a half ago, probably...so it's holding up well.

Hey Jon...
Yep both wheels for the TL were, actually.
The works were from a member on here from NJ or something and the Advan were from wheel flip.com from Chicago.
Best advice, pay the full on paypal fee, even if you have to swallow the entire 3% cost. To know they will show up and be okay'd by you before funds are gone and released to some strange man in a foreign place is worth the peace of mind.

Yes sir...for major purchases (even if you're ever the seller) you'll see they will show "pending" status and the person that receives the goods has a certain amount of time to complain or say they haven't arrived etc...shipping must be provided.
I'm going off of memory, and I'm sure some rules change over time but that's the gist. It's truly meant to protect YOU AND the SELLER.

I totally agree with Jeremy...
when I was buying the Wedsports, they were going to be shipped from Houston...I asked our resident H-town crabby to check them out if he could....sure enough, he didnt ....so I called paypal and asked them about buyer protection....they said "you are protected"
I wanted to be specific and asked them "what if I pay using my CC (using paypal), the funds clear my bank and into the sellers bank, he ships me rocks, he cancels his paypal account, am I still protected"...they mentioned "YES, even if the use cancels, paypal will protect ya"....
That was assuring so I went ahead and paid for the wheels....
the only advice I can give you is make sure you pay using your CC on paypal and not your bank account....that way if PAYPAL says "ohh its been more than 30 days" or some other BS, you can still dispute the charge on your CC

Thank you sir. Good info there.
Sadly the dude sold his Algernons.
But I have found a local set of Work VSMX in gold I like. Id refinish them probably. Going for 1.4g
Or some flawless work equips dipped chrome for 2g. Seller wants to relip them from 7.5 to 8.5 in order to get me to pay the full 2g.
The vs aren't flawless but 600 cheaper. The equips are half an inch wider though... decisions decisions. Both local sellers. Yessss.

I would stay away from that...i could deal with it if I was getting it done but the seller is selling a wheel and re-barelling them for a sale, am not too sure he will be concerned on how well the job is gonna get done...

Damn...even an expert on white text. How do you expect me to compete with that.
From my understanding, you can bolt up a step lip that adds width. I could be wrong though...either way, I think those rebuilds are intensely crazy costly.
JLPTL, what is this "finished" you speak of?
Thank you, man. Mine is far from perfect, but I appreciate people liking how she looks. My old girl...
