waxes used:
eagle one nano wax for first 2 years

i meant wax every two weeks, polish every month (or when paint starts looking dull) sorry ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I used a polymer sealant from meguiars (M21) to lock in the shine. but since its white and my daily driver, it gets a lot of road exposure.

Alright, I don't think our soft Acura paint could take a polishing every 2 weeks. I am on a 6 month polishing schedule. Same with claying. Hit up the wash and wax section...there is a preferred wax for WDP cars that really gives the WDP a ton of depth. I believe it is Klasse or Duragloss, I don't remember which. I used Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant on my NBP and I love it.

I was like that with my TL when I bought it and then the accidents started rolling in and I was like eff it. Now, I just get the courtesy wash and vac from Priority Acura whenever I get my oil change. FML.
OP, your car looks good though. Very well kept.

i agree. one time I asked a friend who details and he brought a paint thickness gauge to see how thick the paint was in some areas. some were really thin. all the polishing I did though, was mostly the front and rear bumpers (bug and tar from the front, exhaust soot in the rear). the side and roof/hood didnt really need much polishing. plus I did everything by hand. never had a machine, but Im thinking of taking actual classes on how to use machine buffers. i figured its about time I stepped up ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

The times have changed. There are dual action random orbital buffers now that have a very very light learning curve. I taught my girlfriend how to do a panel of my car within a half hour. Very easy to do with great results.

looks as good as my paint. i have ZERO scratches and NEVER had swirls on my TL. i'm going on 7+ yrs with my TL (yes, since she was a baby
). so i understand the OCD upkeep it takes to keep the car looking brand new.

i swear it made the entire engine bay look super factory new. it definitely restored the faded color of the plastics back to their original condition. and the plus is that its non greasy or oily. ill take pics in daylight so you will see. definitely worth it.

I'm going to try to do some work on my car this weekend too. I just got the new Lake Country microfiber pads this week. I'm anxious to try them out.

yeah man, its worth it. you can actually put it on the interior dash trim. i found that out only today because I was up early to go to a Meguiar's detailing class.
