Optimus Prime would never approve of this!
If this idiot watched the movie, none of the Autobots had stickers on the outside advertising they are Autobots.

.. just because the owner is a shithead doesn't mean this poor car needs to die. Can we instead find the owner and we take a sledgehammer to him?

Real "national" meet that is held in Texas every year. I think it is bigger than bimmerfest. 1000+ whp all day every day.
Every forum brings there group of cars here except us-- this is why the AZ Nationals should be held here.

yeah but how many people does the TX meet get from out of state ?
the reason KS is the perfect spot is coz its BAM in the middle of the country.....
its like 700 miles from Chi-town (North) and 750 miles from Austin (South).....1400 miles from NY (East) and around 1400 miles from Calif (West)......
the only reason why many people dont come to the meet coz it tends to get expensive....by the time you get a Hotel + Gas + ohh my, i will put 1000 miles round trip, ohhh nooeeesssss.....
i have seen almost everyone from STL/Chi-town/KS/ come....and you have the occasional 500+ miler people and some insane 1000+ miles (one way) person (hint: he went from CL TO THE TL)......
plus you have FREE FOOD + MUSIC + freebies + healthy competition + AMPD Emblem chic....why would you wanna miss it ?

It is a once a year thing-- dynos are mega cheap. We have races at the raceway -- and than we have a bikini show + DJ at a restaurant with all the cars there.
People tow in there Lamborghinis, Porsches, Bugattis, Bimmers, Benz, Classics etc... Happens every year since forever

blah blah blah bikini show blah blah
am in....where do i sign up? is it that time of the year yet ? no seriously....
for the TL's it a national meet only TL's (ahem i meant acura's LOL)...now if we post stuff up and bring in the honda's and the toyota's and lexus and nissan you will see a lot more car rolling in....
i was talking to Steven Bell and suggesting instead of the dealership, lets do the meet in the KC raceway.....so people who run their mouth can actually prove their skills on the track and have a dyno or some for cheap.....
but u know what was some people's worry on that....ohhh what if my axle breaks 500 miles from home.....

What is this.. Ramblings?? I'm the only one allowed to stir the pot here.
I hate coming back to this thread.
Texas is much closer to "Mexico" for those of you who get my drift.. and home to the cars that make it worthwhile.
I'm not saying I'd go.. either way.

While the National Meet was a blast, I spent close to $400 on gas alone. Not including a hotel and food.

^^^ Champ....I'd like to address some of your posts.
First, it's kind of rude when you say that any city but yours is the "worst place" to have a National Meet.
Second, we specifically decided to make our meet Acura/Honda cars, as to not dilute the theme of the meet. While it would be nice to have other "exotics" at the meet, then it wouldn't be a National Acura/Honda meet.....
We have had some NSX's there, so that satisfied the "supercar" category.
Third, Jay Wolfe Acura in Kansas City sponsors our National Meet. They are gracious enough to clear out their entire lot so we can display our cars, provide free food and beverages, gifts, giveaways, music and much more. We really have a lot of fun. Plus, it's great to meet people you talk with on the forum, but never get to meet face-to-face.
Fourth, location-wise, Kansas City is right in the middle of the country. This makes it easy for anyone to get to the meet. Unfortunately, Houston would be a lot farther for everyone to drive, as opposed to the middle/center of the US.
Fifth, we have a "run" the night before the meet, where everyone caravans to a location for dinner and drinks. We always have a fun time.
Sixth, I have already been contacted by other Acurazine members as to the date for this year's meet in Kansas City. Plans are already being made for Houston members to drive up. It sounds like you will not be a part of that group, which is sad.
Seventh, if you would like to participate in this Texas meet, you should! Get information up on this meet in the Regions Section of Acurazine and put a group together! It would be cool to see some Acurazine member representing us there.
Cheers!

I understand that the location itself is one of the best as it is in the middle of the Country, but that does not make it a good location (IMO). I don't mind heading over the KC for it, but it seems more ideal and fun-filled to go to TX2K. This is a weekend of meets and races. Nearby hotels are all discounted for the meet. To put this in perspective, a weekend spending looking at Acuras, or looking at Acuras + 1000 whp+ monsters + races + cheap dynos + hot chicks + good food. That can't be beat. An extra 500-600 miles is worth the drive. It is a once a year meet-- I'm not worried about gas (if I was going to KC or was from NE going to TX2K)
Even though she is probably made up of all aftermarket parts-- you get my point.
Imma post a full 2K11 thread soon, hopefully, getting people to come to the meet.
