It did come from TN. I didn't know what city though. One of my uncles works for a used car lot in Kannapolis and they shipped it in from TN. Funny that it comes from Murfreesboro, that's where my dad's gf is from. Her spoiled kid went to Seigel HS I think it's called?

Yeah I saw it at my buddies wheel shop and I got excited but then I realized it had 20's on it so I knew who ever owned it didn't "know" what they were doing. Yep Siegel is known as the spoiled rich kid school so I wouldn't be surprised. Car looks much better now though, keep it up! Just sucks that its an auto.

Yea this is the first auto I've ever owned. But having an auto makes me keep my foot off the gas for some reason. Lol. Maybe I can make this one last. I've blown up three motors previously...

So something else I got done today! My carbon fiber vinyl wrap came in today. I got a 2x4 foot roll of it from Metrorestyling.com and a felt tip squeegee for 50 bucks. On to the pictures...

I plasti-dipped some of the parts before wrapping it bc I'm anal like that. With a heat gun and a little love, it came out alright.

OK guys, after quite a while, I finally got the itch to start doing some real stuff to the TL. I've started getting some parts in. I'll update once everything is installed in a little bit. For now, PICTURES

Love the car man! Ours are almost identical! Couldn't resist asking you but what happened to the seats? Those are not the normal black interior Type-S seats. They should be Black with silver in the middle, if it's not then it's most likely a Base TL black interior in which case it doesn't have the same side bolstering. What's up with this

I honestly have no idea! These were the seats that were in it when I bought it and they are complete s***. Replacing all the leather in the interior was probably going to be the next thing I do. Probably going to buy the leather from LeatherSeats.com and have an upholstery place around here put it on. The stock leather in Acura's is pretty lackluster anyway

They're really nice. The shipping weight on all four was 96 pounds from UPS (I don't know how accurate this is) but they definitely seem sturdier than my XXR's. After having to buy another XXR after cracking one, I lost confidence in them and wanted something a little better. I took some pics to try and show how concave they are. It's the Raijin's 18x8.5 +38

Although now that I think about it, rcadams you might wanna edit that photo. I won't say anything in specific but you'll see what I'm talking about it you 'look closer'.

Sick!! I like those a lot. One of the wheels I had looked at before going the Forgestar route.

The Enkies are much higher quality than XXR. Shouldn't have any problems.

Do the ones in the back have the silver inserts? Yeah if you don't take care of them they will turn to looking like s***. I am a sucker and bought all new OEM Acura leather. Spent a small fortune and have to spend more to get new foam so it stays really tight. The drivers seatback is like $150 the driver cushin foam is almost $1000 for foam.

It doesn't have the silver inserts in any of the seats. Luckily the foam is still in good shape I think. I won't go with OEM leather when I replace it. I might do something small like add red stitching to match the lighting. Just to give it a little flair

I'm certain it won't clear without spacers. But I have 3 sets made by Akata, 12mm, 15mm, and 25mm on hand.

Thanks! Actually started working on it yesterday finally. Should be done by the end of the week

Okay. So a little bit of progress is being made. Here is a picture of the car with the fender taken off and the damage to the front bumper (old ladies )

Since I was replacing one damaged headlight, I went ahead and paid for the other one so they'd match and I'd have two brand new headlights

The jealousy is real right now. Wish I could afford new headlights. Keep up the good work!

Alright, so we're finally making some good progress. I have an appointment on Friday to get a 12" W6 put in with the H.O. box so it's gotta be done by then haha. Anyway, some pics...

Took the opportunity to change my pads. Ordered from HeelToe

Changing the rotors as well. StopTech from HeelToe

Also put a DC CAI on

These two brackets were broken (I'm not sure how) so I changed them on both sides

The new bumper

Went ahead and stripped the hood too to get rock chips out. Here it is with primer

The shop dawg Lucy

Then the main event! (Thanks to AckTL05)

So more pics coming soon when I'm done!!
