Nice, hunkered down look does wonders for the already low TL. Hows the ride quality?

Ron: I really love the ride! its the first time i lowered my vehicle and im enjoying it every single day. Sometimes it can get pretty bumpy since its stiffer than oem, which was the first thing one of my buddies noticed. I think the ride height is just perfect as well.

Here is some pics i took today on a nice So Cal sunny breezy day. I waxed it yesterday with 3M Liquid wax but only on the front/rear bumper and side rockers

Woohoo 3m!!!

Hey Velfarre,

Very nice pics! I am a big fan of the 3M formula...check my thread of my TL after a good waxing using the same formula...it really makes it shine!

Thank you Piano Man, your post was the reason why i sought after that wax I really needed more time to work on the entire car and maybe add in a 2nd coat.

I really was laughing out loud when i read this, thanks Epik it's in north orange county 30 mins away from the beach.

260HP: I bought the springs on ebay from akaspeed2003 same person lokius bought his from for $141.48 shipped from West Covina CA which took a day to get to my door. It costed me $120 to get it installed.

Thats why i went with the S Tech springs, the H&R's alone would have costed me the same as Tein and install for a tad lil more drop

Cool. How's the ride? You like? Who installed your springs?

Hell, I called H&R corporate and their official status for our TL is "under development" and no ETA. So.... if you'd gone the H&R route, you'd be waiting for a while.

My small review of the springs is the 3rd post above. I got it installed at...

Savas Tires & Wheels
5080 E. Gage ave.
Bell, CA 90201 (makes me think of 90210)
323-773-9644 ask for Ivan and tell him Daniel with the 04 silver TL sent ya.

his brother has the new RL
I've been inside the shop and its pretty big, and they recently carry Tein products which i didn't know about till my 2nd vist, so you might be able to work with them on that.

I recommend going early in the morning since its 1st come 1st serve basis and bring a laptop, magazines, or a psp. Install took about 2 1/2 hrs since it was one dude working on it taking his time also doing an alignment on a Lexus GS, but you can't argue with the flat rate.

I ordered H&R sport springs from out of CA before, the same place that sells parts for this forum where i bought my 303 in sept. but i cancelled it since it was 6-8 weeks in backorder. There is an ebay seller "Kurama Motering" located in Idustry, CA that claims to have 50 sets of springs.

LOL, camber not sure yet but im gonna have my car alligned at Savas for $40-45 bucks, but another reason why i went with Tein based on what others said the camber isn't far out of stock specs.

If you need a realtor to work with, my friend works for Prudential in Newport Beach and lives in Irvine.

btw Savas seems to like Acura, I saw Ivan rolling in a nice Red NSX

Nice house, nice backdrop. And the car looks nice too. Time for some 19".

Kuruma Motoring lied to you. If they have 50 sets of springs, why is it in backorder?

Just bought my subs tonight This is a pic around the club house below our house, just thought some of you guys might be intrested in our view from the backyard.

JL 2 10" w6v2 prowedge enclosure (sounds damn good) If you look at it in person it looks so tiny but the sound... I plan to mod up the look of the box a tad bit.
Enjoy

wow, sorry about your back bumper! thats BS that Acura wont fix that, wow. i really hate to say this, but that is the worst color match ive seen on the TL. i would have refused to take the car off the dealers lot. did you say something the day you picked up your car?

well... i bought my car in the evening so it wasn't as obvious. but we did notice it and addressed it to our dealer and he told it was normal. he walked us around the lot to show other cars like wdp has the mismatch. during that time i just wanted the car so badly and thought acura did that for a sporty fluid style.

after i saw a ssm painted right at a different dealer i just thought it looked fucking clean so i complained about it and that dealership told me to go to the place where i bought mine, apparently my dealer has a bunch of new cars that have bumpers like that so they told they can't work with me.

When i have the time i'll take it to some other place and try to get it repainted, and im thinking of calling Acura corporate and send some photos then see what they can do about it.

oh yeah can't complain about the price, it was a demo w/ 309 miles and i bought it for $29k something before taxes so i didn't want to wait for a different one, also since it was so hard to find a TL in so. cal that i like around that time, they just sold like hot cakes

2 JL 10s sound like it would be pretty loud... sweet, but loud... I'm guessing 1 10" would be perfect

Its loud but not overpowering the system loud, the RMS on each sub is 400 totaling 800 but i have it hooked up on a JL 500/1 so you can say its underpowered but it sounds damn clean and soo good.

Unfortunately yes, 1st place i had to dynamt was behind the frame that holds the license plate. Next i need to dynamat the rear lower side quarters (where the bumper meets the body) or just the entire sides of the trunk. My 99' Maxima had a better sealed trunk (built in Japan) and i had 2 12" w6s in that!

With the TL i need to dynamat teh Overhead Console put some clear rubber tabs between the visor mirror cover and the visor light, and some felt around the rear brake light. anyways dynamatting the trunk is also a good investment for spl.

Sometimes i miss the Maxima but the TL is a nice upgrade.

I wish JL made an enclosure that wide, but with 1 10" opening, I'd be in love
