Quicks Pics RJ and Aspec

Took a few quick pics of my girls car. I installed the side skirts last week before she went out of town and the rear lip I installed today. It got dark real quick so pics are not great. I forgot to take a picture of the CF steering wheel that was installed last weekend. I also removed the Acura emblem on the truck and plan on either removing the TL Type S or moving it to the bottom right corner of the trunk lid.

Wheels have been ordered and should be here in another month and half or so and the car will be getting coil overs as well once the wheels arrive. Front mesh is also being replaced by a hexagon perforated piece of aluminum and will be color matched to the centers of the new wheels.

Looking good man!

What kind of wheels are on the way?

And I would take the TL off and leave the Type-S emblem

Looks dope! Nice, the only thing I would have done was tell the bodyshop to fill in those gill slit things. Would have looked cleaner.

Never the less, good looking combo

Are those fog lights behind the lower grilles?

Are you going to mount them to the bumper?

IMO paint the lower grilles black it will look better.

I will probably be doing that next. I bought this emblem a couple of weeks ago just trying to decide if I should use it or stick with the red one.

The fog lights are bigger that the openings in the bumper which is why they are mounted behind. The bumper does not have provisions for the fog lights.

The grille material is going to be replaced and color matched to the wheel centers once they come in. For now these will be left alone.

Looks good! I just don't like the way the fogs have to be blocked from behind the mesh. The functionality is compromised.

I've always loved the RonJon nose and side skirts. I wanted to do this on my ASM Type S too. What wheels did you get? I like the RonJon Inspyres with the aero kit.

Clean, but I do not like how the front is much lower than the rear.

I think it looks fine, but no wheels and no drop on a kitted car tends to look different than most of what we have seen here on the forums. Once you take care of that and take better pics without flash, I'm sure ity will look 100x better.

Also, for the lower grille, use the mesh that came with the kit, have it painted or powdercoated matte black and cut it off right before the fog lights. Then use a rubber weatherstripping to hide the rough mesh edge. I can send you a decent amount of the weather stripping, email me your addy.

steven bell - A set of Work VS-XX have been ordered.

bforbrian - The front doesn't really sit much lower in person. The aspec skirts actually did close up some of the difference in height compared to the stock type s skirts.

ron-The body shop that painted and installed the bumper said there was no mesh in the box which is why they installed that woven stainless mesh. I emailed you guys about it also and was told it didn't come with the bumper and that I could purchase it from mcmastercarr. Maybe it was a misunderstanding.

I'll take some new pics once the wheels come in and once the car is lowered. These pics came out pretty crappy but next time they will be way better.

Send me your address via email, I'll send you some mesh to use, but you have to have the installer cut it in a general shape, I'll also throw in the weather stripping.
