trying to get good at these before i goto hawaii, trying tot one a bunch of skills with this camera haha.

Im guessing this is a fake HDR?

A true, and good HDR shouldn't be noticeable.

It made the environment look good...but it made the TL less visible...work harder

Are you using three of the same images set to different exposures?
That is.. something like -2, 0, +2?

yep -2, 0, +2 i just dont get the adjustments all that well

what i have found to work well sometimes is to take more than just 3 shots. -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 and then you figure out if you want it darker or lighter.
