Quick and Cheap Headlight mod...

I came up w/ this headlight "mod" after ordering some 1/2 headlight tints from blue batmobile. The color wasn't anywhere close to my taillight tint, and wasn't as good of quality IMO . I'm not knocking blue batmobile AT ALL...so don't take it that way.

Since I have a type-s, I have the OEM 1/2 cleared headlights. Let me know what you guys think. It took me about 10mins to do both sides. I may do them over again to get the cuts a little smoother. I cut them out after putting the full tint on my headlight.

Excuse the dirty car...its been raining for 3 days...

Hmn, I like the idea... but it doesn't look 'clean' to me.
Cuts are too revealing in my opinion.

I agree...I'm going to do them over. I still have enough of the tint left to do both headlights. It was drizzling and cold, so it was a quick cut-out job. Plus, I was using a razor blade to cut them out while on my headlights. So, I had to be extremely careful not the cut into my headlight

TypeSinNC....have you considered BlueBat's full tints? That's a good alternative to the 1/2 tints. It covers the entire headlight-not 1/2 of them. Blue Rocket and I also have the 1/2 tints in the 6/10 (20%) tints and I like mine a lot. You might consider the full coverage tints from BlueBat.

ASM+Cleared headlights= huge win

I don't think this looks bad at all, easy way to dull down the orange, but cleared would be sick

Are there darker ones you could have gotten or was that the darkest?

And the rain around here the last few days has sucked . I finally got a chance to wash my car today.

They were supposed to be the 6/10. It actually looks better in person...I couldn't get a good angle on it. I wish I would have felt like washing my car today...long nite in g-vegas

Hahaha I remember the G-Vegas nights (somewhat).

Recovering from a long night > washing the car

Have you considered getting the 3/10 so it's a little darker? Or are you just saying the hell with it and keeping it the way it is?

I think I'm just going to re-do them w/ the tint I have left over for now. I'll probably be getting some JnC headlights in a few months. Does he usually keep Type-S lights on hand?
