wait, you can NOT crack that casing on the way out?

Actually, I managed to not on Austin's...but add that awesome clutch pedal I'm always bragging about, it makes it a bit more "interesting" to get at.

I cracked mine because i wasn't 100% sure where I needed to grab it...grabbed some channel locks and was like....FK YOU, YOU'RE coming out...like a set of teeth on a guy I'm interrogating...in Croatia or somewhere with no interrogation rules and such.

Man oh man lol

Yeah Glenn pulled that damn thing out and was soldering the new part in before I even knew what was happening haha. I didn't even see where he pulled it out of!

Last week's fender rolling session got cancelled. The guy that I work with is a real professional and he said it was too cold and windy to do it. He uses a heat gun to heat the paint to keep it from cracking, and the cold and wind wouldn't allow him to heat the paint properly.

Rescheduled for this Saturday and hopefully we will have a garage to do it in; I'm hoping it will work out this time.

I'm just getting the rear fenders rolled and a slight pull. Nothing too crazy

I also got all my parts in FINALLY. Myron Davis DVD player, 92 led switbbacks (after like 1 month wait from V-LEDs) and all of that. Its all ready to go in!!!

The only thing I'm waiting on is my Maven shift knob from Heeltoe. Seriously its been over a month since I ordered the "clutch kit" from them which included the solid bushings, CT short shifter, and the knob. I'm glad I had them ship the bushings and CT SS sooner or I'd still be waiting. Seems they don't keep anything in stock...just wait for someone to buy it and then they order and make it or whatever. I'm annoyed at this wait time, but whatever.

His azz didn't want icy fingers and azz...20 degree wind < 1200 degree fender with the heat gun...

I mean, probably better your fender guy doesn't do a sh*t job cause he TOLD you it was too cold, but he's a little kitten!

Had some fun today with a friend. Plastidipped his A-spec wheels black because he wanted that look.

Yup!

Had a friend over and helped plastidip his A-Specs black and tried to throw on the vossens FINALLY but ran into fitment issues. Unfortunately the front do NOT clear brembos, which SUCKS. I thought I wouldn't have a problem since the front are 19x8.5 +38

I guess I'll have to throw on some spacers. I got the rear fenders rolled but it looks like I may also have to get my fronts rolled too.

Also realized a bunch of my damn heater/ac/navi have burnt bulbs. It seems they all went out at once and I'm really pissed about it. I'm gonna order LEDs like I did on my last car and switch everything (again) to the neo-wedge LEDs in red. I was hoping not to have to do this because I didn't like how they ended up being so much brighter than the stock radio, but I really cannot put up with these crap low quality bulbs from Acura. And its already getting annoying to find the buttons at night since the Type-S is ridiculously dark inside at night.

You will 1 billion percent need to roll the front and more importantly, need cut/hammer/bend that front tab up and out of the way.

Looking good, love seeing all the TL's there.

Thanks guys!

I am currently planning a trip to FL for this weekend/next week. Any of my fellow Floridian Aziners have any pointers?

Most likely I will be heading straight from VA to Jacksonville for one night (saturday night) and then Sunday will be in Miami for 3-4 days. Might hit the Keys, if not then back up north to Jacksonville and back home to VA by next Friday probably.

Anyone have any pointers or ideas on things to do/places to see?

I'm hoping J can chime in

In all honesty, I've never really been one to go out much. I'd definitely suggest you stop by Deco drive on South Beach to people watch...hope it warms back up for some bikini views. Other than that, I'd say go take a gator tour out in the everglades by airboat...
Pretty cool!

Those are the first ones that come to mind.

McCollins...I'm glad I wasn't delusional when I thought I recognized you sitting at the end of the bar. Don't be so bashful, brah!

Q, definitely hit up Keys....not sure if you swim or enjoy swimming but I ended up going snorkeling and it was an AWESOME def WORTH IT....a little boat, took us an hour away in the ocean....I actually saw Dolphins swim (it was amazing)....then the reef was just stunning, found couple NEMO's too

In Miami, I didnt stay around South Beach, but I was a little up north at Sunny Isles Beach and bunked @ Newport Beachside hotel and resort....and the ironic part was, Fabolous had a pool party the first night I was there...somehow squeeze in there .....well in 2 and half hours, the resort was out of Vodka and the 2nd night I was there, the resort had a bikini contest in the bar of the hotel....well lets just say, I got my moneys worth in the trip....

Hahahaha you guys are too much!

Yeah I really want to go through Key West at least for one day while I'm down there. Its gonna be my cousin (same age as me) and I so I'm SO down for some partying! J I remember you told me about a certain strip club?

Unfortunately I am stuck staying in locations with Hyatt hotels; have a family discount from a friend at those locations...Its basically the only reason the trip will be affordable LOL.

Anyone wanna meet up? I'll be bringing the Type-S

Congrats Swoosh!

Well I just booked one night in Jacksonville (Saturday 3/9) and 4 nights in Miami Beach (Sun 3/10-3/14)!

I'm excited to take the TL on another road trip. This time since I don't have any CEL's I'll be interested to see what kind of gas mileage I get. Luckily all my maintenance is FINALLY up to date and the beast is ready to go. Also got the DVD player installed and my USA-Spec so hopefully it will be a pretty good trip. Probably between 2500-3k miles total

I just wish I could properly wash/wax and protect it before I head out. Its supposed to snow 6" or so here in VA so I'm screwed with no garage. I'll probably at least tape up the front end again before I head down though.
