New Addition to the Family..
I couldn't take the suspense anymore....it was a childhood dream and I pulled the trigger... AcuraZine Members, Say "hello" to my latest b!tch.... My 2005 Grand Prix White S2000 with 07 Red/Black interior...and yes...of course I still have the TL...she's my soul sister.... In fact I took her down with me to pick up the new toy...who needs a motorcycle when you have an s2000? <3
P.s. Roof lip on the TL is clearly missing....its bc I'm having it repainted. & yes the interior in the S is wet...top down raining is not a good idea lol excitement got the best of me...

Congrats on the purchase! I have never been a fan of those S2000's, but im sure its fun to drive. If im going to have an impractical 2 seater its going to have a big V8 and be fast as shit lol.
That rolling shot of the Type S looks awesome!

Nice acquisition with the s2000!
My brother has one of those and they're fun to drive. Much different animal than the TL for sure.

As I was scrolling up I saw the red interior first, I was like...JEEZ, this girl loves RED!
Gorgeous pick up, girl...honestly, I paid off the TL and I will be doing something similar. RWD track car for the weekends, TL for family duty (when the time comes). Sounds about right...
Congratulations, nothing like fulfilling something you've dreamt about for years.
Love the combo of colors too. Are you blowing a kiss in that top down picture?

Awww hellz now, Gucci Aviators? You must drink your Old English with your pinky up!
Seriously though, I wish I wifey could drive mine, but it has that extra pedal that baffles her mind. And I don't trust too many other people to give it a whirl.

First off, DAMN. I love what you've done with the TL.
Secondly, DAMN. You got an S2K as well? It's exactly what I want as a secondary toy!
Finally, DAM---well, you get the point. I enjoyed following your progress. Don't know if you often make your way up to the capital (you seem to drive around NYS a lot), but perhaps I'll catch your red TL-S zipping around here in Albany some time.

Thank you! I'm pretty excited about it!
The color scheme makes me smile every time I look at it...at this rate, people must not think its mine just because i just stare at it like a groupie still hahaha!
"third petal that baffles her mind" hahaha thats cute!
Let me tell you that third petal got a whole lot of NOT STOCK behind it..I'd be interested to find out what Clutch is in this thing because honestly...ITS A DREAM...lol It reminds me of my mans STI. Very stiff. Even had another S2k owner take it around the parking lot...he was jealous! hahah
You should have seen the Skittle Colors dancing through my head like sugar-plum fairies...and then i realized... "Whiiiiiiiteeeeeeee " HAHAHA If i keep it white... i'm getting screwy on the wheels...Those will be a sight...lol
Thank-ya-Thank-ya! I do travel to Alb occasionally. More so Saratoga/Malta.

Seriously?
SOoooo0...[Dear Diary] lol
I get in my car about 3 weeks ago...and i do my usual setup...Music on. Check. Windows Cracked. Check. Sunroof Tilt. EPIC FAIL ....I felt like Chicken Little...This UNGODLY noise occurred and my immediate reaction was the hit the button again.
Suddenly, the noise seized...and I was almost sure sh!t got real...so I cant even determine the root of the evil...I get out of the car to inspect it further..and One side of my Sunroof it popped up and the other side is grossly recessed. Well at this point, its apparent theres a track issue, but howwwww..who the hell knows?!
I take it to my Acura Dealer immediately, because it was about to Monsoon and "aint nobody got time for that" ...and they were able to magically get it closed and i set an appointment up for the next week to drop it off...Drop the roof liner, check it out, the whole 9..YUCK.
Week later...my other half is sitting in the passenger seat. I had just finished shammy-ing the car and hes inside wiping it down. Well he decides to get surgical and starts individually wiping buttons...and THERE IT WENT...The tilt setting for the sunroof....HAHAHAHA It was haunting me...this noise that felt like my child was being beaten.
I was so done as this rate that i had a floppy sided sunroof..I called acura and dropped it off that day.
Its been 2 weeks
4 Pieces from all over the country and an issue that still remains anonymous and $600 LATER and I'm still without my Ac! I know i dont drive it like that...infact, i rarely drive it...but DAMN DO I MISS SEEING THAT THING WHEN I LEAVE FOR WORK! all snuggly in her car cover...
GOOD NEWS IS...
Shes coming back with my new Brake Setup as well...decided to try for StopTech Cross Drilled and Slotted with the Black Painted Hub in hopes that they give a bit more depth to my offset..
I DONT THINK ILL EVER HIT THAT BUTTON AGAIN.....

Thank You!
LOL You're not the only person who feels that way, in fact, everyone feels that they should be Black, but honestly, the reason I did it is because it's different and sets it apart from the rest of the front ends...Before I painted it and it was CBP, I liked them Black, but once the color was louder, I just lost the fogs unless they were on all the time..I felt like the definition of the lower fogs gave them presence when they were off, hence the reason why I had them painted. I love them both ways!
