Cool Post pics of your TL-S conversions

SO I HAVE DECIDED TO DO MY TL-S CONVERSION. THOSE WHO HAVE DONE THIS, CAN YOU PLEASE POST PICS OF YOUR REAR BUMPERS. I HAVE NOT YET DECIDED IF I WANT TO CUT THE STOCK BUMPER AND ADD THE KIT OR JUST BUY THE TYPE-S BUMPER.

ALSO PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT TIPS YOU USED. I HAVE AN IDEA OF A PAIR I WANT, BUT IT DOES NOT HURT TO SEE WHAT OTHERS HAVE DONE.

2. I live near little neck.
3. ballinfizzle's exhaust is a custom magnaflow exhaust, not atlp.

He's referring to your 07-08 type-s front bumper with 07-08 base front aspec lip.... that's what jptl04 did and he and I think you are attempting to custom put that lip on!

Do you think the 07-08 base front aspec lip fits 04-06 front bumper?

I'm sure it can.. more easily than it fits the 07-08 type s bumper..... but the 04-06 aspec front looks so much better why would you want to?

The 07-08 Base Aspec does not directly fit the 04-06 Base bumper. I tryed. It was awhile ago, but I think it looked like it needed to much done to fit perfect.
From what I remember, the middle part was off, the shape around the corners wasn't quite right, and the shape around the outer lower grilles was off.

Dont take this the wrong way...I like your setup, it just seems like the tips are off.

In the picture above the cut outs dont look even and the tips seem slanted.
Is the exhaust surround just taken out (grey piece on stock typeS lip) with the tips placed in them?

Please tell me its just the pictures...

I don't take things to the flip side... no worries... ... it isn't that serious...

they are slanted in order to flow with the type S lip kit... and no it wasn't a plug and play type of modification... The tips are welded to the mufflers as opposed to just being clipped onto the bumper like the lexus... the bumper and tips were cut up and modified... then the bumper was reconstructed around tips... on the left side... the body guy didn't do a perfect job at the reconstruction and following the curves of the exhaust tip... but it's expected... I'm still happy with it, a couple of milimeters diffence don't bother me... ... almost nothing in life is 100% symmetrical, look at a girl's breasts, they are never even left to right unless they were fabricated to be ... I still love them equally...

He didn't itemize it... it was part of his work for the complete bodywork... So I don't know... sorry man...

Welding an exhaust tip isn't rocket science... any muffler shop can weld some tips... shouldn't be more than $20 bucks...

And this thread needs less of atlp and some more xlr8...we cut the stock bumper and added the lip

SERIOUSLY need to be slammed and rims but thats going to wait until after the winter, no sense in doing it now.

This month im doing 20% tint,07 side mirrors and tl-s tails/sidemarkers.
