hmmmm...STi, in donut-marked lot...now who could've done that? I wonder...

some of the other pics here are nutty, especially onskith who couldn't get up to his driveway.

I dont own a digi camera, but there was this one time my mom's Cavalier was at my aunt's place overnight, and it got a big chunk of a sleet storm we had a while ago. all windows on driver's side + windshield and rear window were completely frozen over, so were some of the body (driver's door, rear driver's door, left side fenders front and back, hood, trunk), and snow was packed into the door jambs, and froze overnight so it took like half an hour just to get one damn door open. and the tires and wheels and hubs were frozen, too, so we had to kick all 4 tires to get the ice off.

and guess who was in charge of:

chipping all the ice off the windshield (20 mins)

rear window (20 mins)

drivers door window (30 mins, because the ice had the most effect there and was packed twice as thick)

driver's side rear door (another 20 mins)

getting the damn doors OPEN (45 mins)

using my famous roundabout kick to knock all the ice off all 4 tires (what a bitch)

oh, and another minute to get the doors closed once we were in our seats.

gawd...I hate snow!! Even with a garage.....after driving in the snow....you have those big dirty gobs of ice behind the wheels...then that shit melts in the garage leaving a big pile of dirty salt and slush...UGHHHH!!!!!!!

I don't drive my TL in snow so no pics. That's what a beater is for.

Parents got me the TL...
STI I am paying it off myself....
This is my second Subie, I got the money for the STI from my previous car, an 01' Integra Type-R, sold it for 26,000. Used part of that for downpayment for the STI. I am currently financing it. And I got the money for the ITR from my first 00' 2.5RS Impreza w/ a Swapped EJ20T engine from an STI Ver6 in Japan.

Just took this one. Already cleaned off the 12" of snow. Stuff left on the cah are remaining flurries. Should have taken a pic with it totally buried. The Subie way down the end is the winter cah.

Here is a pic from when we got our first flurries of the year in RI.

I'll have another pic up tomorrow after we get this "massive" storm that is coming our way and should be here in less than an hour.

Not only are we in a drought here in North Alabama, but its been YEARS!!! since we have had a good snow fall!!! Currently it is 62 outside. I am not a big fan of snow all winter, but I sure would love to have a week or so of it down here. Although my car would be in the garage the whole time. Break out the 4x4 Ford to putt around in!!!!

I realize I can't slide for shit in a TL.
Front is too heavy, I can't get the car in sideways momentum to slide it. When I pull the e-brake, it just understeers, and the front wheels just slides straight when I steer and it doesn't turn. I give up! Sticking with Subie in the snow! =D
