Rolex watches aren't as expensive as everyone thinks. If you think about all the money you dump into your car, that's about as much as a rolex costs. If you look at some people on the forums, 2000-3000 rims, 3000 supercharger, 1000 coilovers, 500-1000 exhaust...etc....adds up pretty quick... Of course a Rolex will set you back 5000 in one shot.

Different strokes for different folks...I have a friend that is a hardcore audiophile and he spent $15,000 on his home STEREO...not a home theater, a STEREO....this is all he got... 2 speakers, 2 speaker wires, amp, cd player (not a dvd/cd player combo, just a cd player), and an audio cable that connects CD player to the amp...all that for $15,000....i was like...dude, WTF, you're nuts etc, then he was like...what about you and your watches? That's when it hit me...i spent about the same amount of money for 3 watches...

Yea i know, long post, just wanted to make a point....if you think about it, one mans junk is another mans treasure. =) Can someone post a pic of themselves and their car now? or is it still gonna be me only? lol

I know a lot of peeps might think that it's weird but I only wish my parents were supportive like that about modding my car. I've been doing it for years and they completely HATE HATE HATE it! They don't get it that it's my hobby. They don't get why I would take a well engineered brand new car and take it apart and redo it my way. They call it a complete waste of money, talent, energy and life. (modding has nothing to do with my education or line of work, that's why.) They say if I invested the same somewhere else I could be Bill Gates or the President.....

lol thanks. they dont exactly understand why i put so much money into it, but they say as long as it keeps me out of trouble and keeps me learning new things they dont mind it
