those first rims were Ron Jons??? Man they look just like the 08 stock rims except with a lip. I was thinking to myself man my stock rims don't look like that . There are two ways to black out headlights, First of which is the simplest which is by putting a overlay over the outside of the lens. Very bad idea, as you do lose output, and people have said that theyre headlights have been ruined by this.

Second, which is the preferred method is to bake your headlights, open them up, spray paint with a black semi gloss, then reseal them. You do not lose light output on the headlights, and depending on what parts you paint, you lose output on the turn signals.

Thanks!!... they were called the Devotions 1 piece forged. But yes they were discontinued. And I actually bought these new rims out of necessity (hahaha... necessity... tsk tsk ). The Ron Jon's inexplicably and irreparably cracked on me. And it wasn't just one... all four of them cracked at the spoke! I could not sell them.

Alas, HRE's would have been nice, but they would have cost a bit more. Plus, I read on Invincible's thread that they could not deliver the lip size he or I wanted. So I went with the IForged Daytonas. It was better this way, I could get a staggered look out of it, without it being...you know... staggered.

Thanks, man! Yeah the guy that did it for me wasn't sure it was gonna work out either , but when he saw it he knew! haha.. I guess it's hard to tell from the pictures, but I painted the Aspec lips too, where they are supposed to be grey, I asked him to paint them black (front and back).

Hey man! i'll post picks of the RJ kit when I get my car back.

It's been at the body shop and audio shop for 5 weeks! WTF!!! Apparently the RJ kit was warped and bent out of shape. The body shop had to use a heat gun to bend it back into shape...

Also the one rim that I had to repair was also a bitch to get fixed... because it's a three piece wheel they had to take it apart and then reseal it. On a side note they put it back together all wrong and the offsets are also all fcuked up!

Someone tell me if this is true, but when they took the wheel apart apparently they could not use the same rivets on the rims (I have Iforged Monacos). I had to wait a week to get some new rivets ($200/4 wheels).

Sorry, this thread is about you, but just wanted to give everyone the heads up on 3 piece rims!

Once everything gets taken care of, I hope it looks good.

Thanks, I had to get that lip ya know? It sucks that the Brembos won't let us 6mt folk have bigger lips in the front. I would have liked to been able to rotate my tires, but oh well.
