Talking Plick Plickity Pow...

...how you like me now? Hehe... I'm just playin'! I just got some new shoes and just wanted to share. I think 20's would put me in the DUB club now right? lol

First, we start with a plain jane TL... nothing special:

Then mod a little here and a little there and we get this:

Happy Birthday!

A present here and a present there and...

Can't forget the NEW SHOES!

And then... TADA!

Sorry the pictures kinda suck... I wish a had a DSLR ... I'll try to borrow one for some better pics...

I had a big thing for them too!! And I would have kept them buuuuut what are you gonna do when all four of them crack on you and they've been discontinued? So I rolled with these...iForged Daytona's... 20 x 8.5 ... they have a staggered lip, but they're not staggered.

Thank you everyone!

Cleared headlights look okay with the ronjons but now you must semi-black out the headlights to go with the new shoes and grille.

Looks good, but is it just me or did you place the Type S lip too high? The curve of the lip is supposed to contour with the curve of the trunk

Iforged are some solid rims, built to last... I only just cracked mine after hitting a number of potholes hard! only one rim needed repairing, and it was a minor crack.

Yeah I fucked up putting it on ... but it's not a Type-S lip ... it was from ebay... I think it was $70 dollars unpainted... from spoilerstore? or something like that..

Dropped on Tein Basics... no fender rolling no rubbing... well.. over big high speed dips it'll hit a little...

I don't really know what the offset is... maybe 40 or 42? I paid a pretty penny... ha... more than I'd like to say... but I just called them and told them to run whatever offset they felt they needed to run, but it must clear Brembos and just told him what lip size I wanted.

That's a damn sexy WDP.

I'd say WDP and NBP are pretty even.

Hey thanks for the help Ed. I see now that if I went with 245/35 20... I would been in a world of trouble. These just barely clear everything.

Clean rims! I wanted to ask what you used to paint your grill. Thinking about doing the same exact thing to mine.

Thanks!

Well I gotta confess that I didn't do it myself. But my buddy at the body shop said that the paint in the middle is nothing special, and he couldn't clear coat it or something b/c it's not a material that's meant to be painted. To tell you the truth, the black WILL chip a bit, and you'll have to get it touched up. He was doing work on my car and colored matched and painted the trim pieces for me.

Taking these pictures really reminds me that I need a DSLR... oh well here are some more pics (she needs a carwash btw).

That's the size of a credit card btw... notice where the valve stem is too... apparently its location and the fact that I have TPMS was a lot for the tire mounting people to handle, but they got it done.
