What do you guys think? I am still on the fence on whether or not I prefer the grill stock vs the way it is now... What's your opinion??

If you're going getting it painted; have fun with the paint chips.
Right now, the plasti-dip looks kinda uneven and "cloudy".
I would do vinyl (black or flat black).

Paint chips happen due to improper prep. When I paint a grille it gets sanded down with 80, 180 grit, then epoxy primered. From here the grille just do not chip.

I got my grill properly painted and it's been almost 2 years now. Not one single chip on it. It's all about the prep. In my case, I sanded off all the chrome and used self-etching primer as my first coat. Then I put the regular primer, the base coat and clear. It's been holding up great. I recommend once again, getting it paint-matched. It looks awesome.

I'll be honest, I know my freshly painted front bumper and grille will hold up to chipping better then the stock paint. Lol
You could always clearbra the grille...

I did vinyl and am happy with it. It is cheap, doesnt chip, and is pretty fun to do! Give it a whirl! I initially painted it and it chipped/flaked off and looked terrible. Granted I did the paintjob myself and by no means am I a pro painter!
