...if that was my car, i wouldnt tell anyone i got 2nd place since it seems the competition wasnt even that big, id just keep it to myself, and like someone else said in here its about creativity and custom mods, i really do wonder what the other cars look like

I have to admit though, that I too I'm startled that you even placed. Besides the wheels, I don't see much "uniqueness" and creativity involved. Maybe I'm wrong, actually no, I am certain that it still leans more to the side of an OEM look. At most shows, the car would have to be more expressive of your individuality to even gain attention from the judges. IMO
If people are interested in the Sevas S22 wheels you can them dirt cheap in Inglewood, CA. A store called PS2-wheels sells them for around $1300 for twenties and will even finance you. I see the ads in the local penny saver...lol. They're a more affordable alternative look-alike to Iforged, HRE, DPE... I wouldn't get them though, but my tastes are very discriminatory especially toward chrome.

u got lucky that there were only 4 acuras. im not hating or anything but were the other 2 acuras stock?
i mean my 2nd gen TL has all the exterior mods and a very good system and i couldnt even place at a local high school show or at another local car shop show.

The springs are around the same price as the S-Tech springs, shop around the net u can probably find them around $175.00

Each owner has different feelings about their own car. So he did well, congratulate him and move on. Remember, "If you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all". Last but not least, arguing on an forum over the looks and mods of a car is immature, and thats coming from a 17 yr old.....
