The rims are 19"x8.5, 35mm offset
The tires are 235/35 Kumho Ecsta MX

Can't get rid of the mudflaps....I live in Canada and my body will look like someone took a weed wacker to it without them in the winter.

I do want to get a ground kit, but I don't find the A-Spec package that distinctive. They don't lower the profile of the car. Anyone heard of any plans upcoming? It looks like grills are coming soon?

Immediate plans are to tint and I also ordered the hyper white LEDs

My sister just got a new silver TSX so I'll try to get some pics of big brother's ride next to little sister. (My dad might get the new RL!)

Oh yeah,

I'm a little concerned about rubbing if I lower it since I have an aggressive 35mm offset. Any comments on this?

You can have the 3M protective film(Clear Bra, Stongard, Clear Armor, etc.) put on the areas you need or paint the mud flaps(extra flex agent in the paint to prevent peeling).

I had the 3M film on my last Jetta and I found it yellowed in the sun/hot water. It looked like ass after only 1-2 years.

As for the wheels, this is actually my second set. The first set had 45 offset and it wouldn't fit over the Brembos. That set is now on my buddy's V6 6spd Accord Coupe.

great wheels!! i ordered those wheels in the smaller 18" silver version (6 week wait). i had the chance in getting the 19" last week but i was very concerned about the rougher ride and the chances of bending them since i use my 3G TL as a daily driver.

Looks great.....go WDP!!!!

I have 45 offest on my TL ... 19s fit well inside the fenders . still concerned a little about the lowering of mine..(and car is loaded with folks/stuff) ...... but it looks like the 35 offest is going to rub ... I had my trunk loaded and folks in the back .. mine was sitting real nice ..no rubs ..... does your car rub with folks in the back ... ??

wow, good to know! I have been eyeing thse wheels right when they came out, and my TL is lowered 1" so I guess 45mm won't work, 35 sticks out to much, so it will have to be a tough call between 38mm and 40mm offsets, I wish I know which one worked best

Question about Hiros

I have some 19in Hiros on order. Did you have to put hub rings on with the rims?
BTW. how much did you pay for your Hiros

I'm not sure how it was installed or how you took care of it but it should NOT yellow. Did you use the recommended UV protective spray or simply wax it with the rest of the car? I don't think waxing is enough to protect it from the sun.

I put hub rings on the Hiros. I got them for $450 CDN from a buddy with immediate delivery. I love 'em, especially with the WDP contrast! Random people on the sidewalk have complimented them.

I made sure to get the Hiros before I took delivery of the car so that the factory tires would be fresh (relatively). I traded those tires in and paid $90/tire to get 4 Toyo Snowproxes for the factory rims to use as winters.

As for the 3M on my last Jetta, I didn't apply any coats on it. I don't really see them doing much good and I probably would've gotten lazy about it anyways.

There's less than 1 cm clearance. You have to think about more than just offset for clearing the brakes. The spoke pattern is crucial (of course if it's the same design then it's comparable).

oh ok, so you have 35mm, and 1 cm is 10 mm sooooo... 38 or 40 should work, 45 would not fit, as you confirmed already

one last question, how far does the wheel stick out from the fender, my TL will be lowered on comptechs so I just dont want any rubbing, thanks for your help Yauser

I went and measured and I think the clearance is about 7mm. The wheel is pretty much flush with the wheel well. 40mm offset might be tight.
